HI I need help on algae problems should I remove my corals from my tank because I got a little algae growing like brown algae and is it ok if I can just put it in a bucket for a few weeks until the algae from my tank is gone? does phosphate remover will help to kill algae in the reef tank and even slime algae too?

Is the tank acrylic or glass?

I am looking to purchase my first aquarium for a mixed reef. I already have a Red sea c-skim skimmer. do you think I could add it (maybe with a small sump/refugium) in the cabinet using the chiller cables/connectors?

To give us an idea... how many kg's of rock in your Tank Stevie?

Lastly did you use your Stevie T skimmer upgrage in this tank and is it benificial? may want one ;)

Is the tank noisy? and how much live rock is the the tank?I am saving up for a RSM250 and would just like some advice if you do not mind.

Some find the skimmer noisy or the fans.

at this moment i did not do anythink about it , it is acceptable for me.

Its a good tank with a lot of opportunities . but its a bit pricie

There 3 new balasts (EVSA) there been sold from differant brands.

they need to have 1-10v control connections

the stearing/controlling of those ballasts need to be done with an additional computer.

I use a profilux.. but can also be done with a flora-mate light computer.. or something simulair

Its computer comtrolled now ( profilux ).

can even be programmed for cloudy days ( sheep clouds )
