  • Looking for a prodject?

  • Does anybody have mudtires

  • i love mudlights i have them on my 05 foreman but you need all four lol

  • hey i got a question ive got a honda fourtrax 300 1998 awd how much does oil rings cost n 2 be put in if u can answer im ssears1396@yahoo.com thanxs

  • @ssears1396 parts are cheap under 20 bucks, not really sure how much the labor is going to run you

  • There is suppose to be a bearing there i have a fourtrax and those things r in distrucktible just dont let water get in it i had to rebuild the motor

  • what size rims do you have on it

  • @197bcm3smp4bbm5cnp6 these were 12"

  • i have a 92 300 and that little plug thats on the right side on the handle bars ive been tryin to figure out if there is a plug that goes right there or you have to make ur own plug because im gettin a stero soon and i dont want to have to wire it all the way to the battery and just wire it at the plug?

  • @highwaystar148 man i know what your talking about but i never hit it with a volt meter to see what it was putting out, its for a light i think , check it out then you can just splice into it

  • @highwaystar148 its for a light, i bought a light from a parts stroe anround my house, ts cost me around 50$

  • so i should u b able 2 sit the engine on da frame without eny mods

  • @EASTSIDEGANSTER1 I honestly have no idea, about how to do it, im sure it has been done or could be done, personally, i would fix up your recon, sell it, and buy a 300 it would probiably be the easiest mod you could do

  • can u put the engine off this four wheeler and put it on 1998 Honda recon

  • @EASTSIDEGANSTER1 anything is possiable

  • I just watched your video man...there are no bearings in the head or valve cover of a 300 fourtrax. They are called journals and they are lubricated by oil. The bike was probably running low on oil, or the oil tube connected to the jug was clogged.

  • @FannyFanners yeah i figured that out after making the video, and the actual problem was a oil filter installed backwards, that is tough luck there for the guy i bought it from

  • nice looking machine, hondas are super reliable, had mine for 8 years, no problems at all with it. ever

  • @djBLIRR yeah i sold this one to a girl after i got finished with it, it was really nice

  • i used to have one of those quads... amazing quad, never had to repair nothing to it... the only problem its, it has now feet protection.

  • I have this machine in a 1995 model, and,I have a new polaris 800,I would rather have another 300 honda any day! My 95 has only been in "the shop" once in 15 years, the Polaris 3 x in two years, plus, you need to own a gas station to drive the Polaris.

  • @jojostudrock yeah, they really dont make them like they use to

  • thats a real nice looking atv

  • @mrbraunfulo1 thanks its really hard to find them in good shape

  • Thank you for the advice sometimes it takes an outside source to figure something out something you over look. I'll try it out this week and see if I can get it figured out. If not maybe I'll have more info for you to pick your mind about

  • It runs great when it's cold but a few mins in it starts falling off. My main issue is when it warms up I really can't get into 5th gear it just won't pull it. On the other hand it pulls it fine when it's cold.

  • hey i love your videos i just got my 300 from my gpa. i cleaned the carb and did basic tune up stuff but it is lacking alot of power still do you have any ideas? someone at a shop told me to use a k&n air filter so i did and all it did was make the engine louder below me. it does sound good but it added no power to it. any ideas would help. thanks jeremy

  • @jeremysirocz hi jeremy, well you shouldnt lack any power with these, im going to say you should check your petcock filter you can get a whole new petcock with filter for like 20 bucks on ebay, i dont think your getting enough fuel, does it run good for a little while then peter out?

  • @fastgmc i dont know if you got my reply message but it runs good cold my main issue is when it starts to warm up. i cant pull my final gear unless im on completely flat ground if it is slightly up hill at all i have to use 4th where i used to be able to use 5th almost all the time. ill try the petcock oh and i have stock size tires on it so i know that isnt the problem.

  • @jeremysirocz good to hear.....thats what i was kinda hoping it was doing, ok sound like the bowl is full when your just starting it up..cold...then as you get it going...your running out of the fuel thats in the bowl...so...then it isnt getting enough fuel, so...take your fuel like loose from your carb and see if it is pouring out like crazy if it isnt..check and see if you have a inline fuel filter if so take it loose on the side going to the tank and see how much is coming out

  • @jeremysirocz if its still not coming out good turn your petcock lever from on to off to reserve about 50 times see if this help any...remember a open flame will not be good...use a bucket to get capture the spilling fuel..also if it still isnt coming out there is a filter on the end of the petcock sometimes running it on reserve will let you run it till you can get a new petcock

  • @ALsgameroom724 yeah i liked this one alot, but i sold it last oct or nov

  • wat you think bout a 1998 4x4 fourtrax with the same wheels and tires you got on yours are they good ones for trail and mud riding cause i don want one that will tear up a month after i get it any info will be great. thanks

  • well your going to want to get the same size tires with a 4x4 ...i like itp alot...check out my video with the itp xtrs that a great looking tire too...

  • tim my 96 foreman is making a ticking noise in the top end do you know what it might be?

  • well it could be your valves need to be adjusted...when is the last time you changed your oil??

  • how much did u pay for it if u dont mind me asking?

  • it was 6 or 7 hundred...i knew the wheels and tires were worth close to that

  • i have the same quad. runs great. i got the same tires man! do they dig. My friends all have yz450 and they were suprised that i could keep up with them. enjoy that quad

  • thanks for watching...

  • hey do u no where to get and air box cage for a 1992 honda fourtrax 300

  • holy crap bo its so shiny

  • that exactly what i was thinking when i showed up to buy it

  • love the wheels man ..is it a 4x4

  • thanks, i wish it was 4x4 but its a 2wd, the wheels really set it off...

  • you got a 99?

  • just the 98

  • ok yes we are still trying to sell his old one and have since found out that we are probaly going to be 26' outlaws. and def. a winch and some others. how did you get an hmf to fit. i have been wondering how people do it.

  • hell yea man thats a badass fourwheeler

  • thanks i like it too

  • ok so im looking at getting a 1992- 1994 Honda fourtrax and i wanna make it a mini swamper for my son and he wants a snorkel installed and some 28" tires. either mud lites or outlaws. so should i get it. he wants it real bad

  • why not you only live once....lol honda makes a good product it would be hard to go wrong if your getting a good price...just remember mud destroys everything

  • oh yes i know that i would make it mud/water proof for sure

  • good deal then

  • how come my coil keeps ticking

  • yea man your absolutly right there is supose to be a bearing on the cam shaft, the person who probably repaired it the first time just neglected to put one back on, it will run without it. but your head and rocker cover is going to get trashed.

  • post a new video now of it runin!

    looks great by the way.

  • got a video of it running im going to work on getting one riding soon

  • Nice quad man cant wait to see her going.

  • getting pretty close saturday should be riding it

  • What type of ITP wheeles are those because Im getting some Mud Lite tires and those wheels look great with the mud lites.

  • im not sure the type but they are itps..and 12" if that helps any i havent been able to find them on ebay myself must have been last years or few years back model wheels

  • ok thanks ill try and find em.

  • never even worked on mine except for sharpening the blade ...its got a honda motor on it too

  • Cool stuff man. Maybe I should have brought my lawn mower over to your house instead of taking it over to millbrook small motors yesterday since you know how to fix all this stuff!

  • im surprise to see a honda 300 with no top end coz those 300 are well known for their legendary reliability record hehe, i have one and i never had any problem with it.

what was wrong with the motor?

  • well got to looking at it...and the oil filter was put in backwards...thats the reason..no oil on the cam shaft ruined the head and cam shaft have new cam and head going in it...and rings and timing chain
