Al & Jessica were good friends. They were said to have grownup 2gthr. Natalie & Al not so much...Al's mother Gabby married Asa & he adopted Al. The adoption part was played by Michael Tipps. Al was recast when Asa was thought dead...so this is NM's Al's 1st scene with Asa.
It may be of some note that Renee & Asa thought he was their grandson when Max (Al's bio dad) was trying to pass himself off as their son...It gave Asa great pleasure to watch Al reject Max & take the Buchanan name.

I have scenes from his 2001 service (which is what I am assuming you're asking for) some of which I've already uploaded...It's titled OLTL: Asa's Ex-Wives Attend His 'Funeral,' 2001. If you've already seen that and want more all I really have of Blair (that I haven't uploaded) is right before the service when she & Starr were going to light a candle for Jack (when Starr convinces her to attend the service) & when Blair was comforting Starr b/c of Asa & them leaving.

Viki gave them the necklaces for Christmas...one was hers and the other was Meredith's.
