  • How can this be a Montagu's Harrier without a white upper rump?

    Furthermore, the bird is very dark underneath. I'm pretty sure this is a Marsh Harrier.

  • @Graskian Hi the bird is a melanistic Montagu's Harrier, it is fairly common in montys and they are sometimes refered to as dark morph birds
