  • Wtf

  • it even plays you a song :)

  • more noise of motor

  • @MrSrbreno These are motors from old CD players. But you can use any mini motors you can find in toys.

  • @FunSciEdu

the red motor also can be replaced by diesel engine which is not a renewable energy....hehehe. sorry, im workig on ship. :)

    great vid bro...

  • nice project

  • NO VEO EL CHISTE EN UTILIZAR ENERGIA PARA GENERAR ENERGIA, DEBERIAS DE UTILIZAR OTRO TIPO DE ARRASTRE PARA IMPULSAR EL MOTOR COMO UN MOTOR DE COMBUSTION EXTERNA

NO JOKE TO USE SEE THE ENERGY TO GENERATE POWER, YOU SHOULD USE OTHER MOTOR DRIVE TO BOOST AS AN EXTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE... NO SPEAK ENGLISH

  • Why not connect the battery directly.

  • @san42c02y Thanks for the comment.

In a larger scale the Red motor can be replaced by wind, running water (hydro power) or steam, driving the Black generator to generate electricity to operate a load.

  • @san42c02y Why not remove the battery altogether and slap a bloody great fan in it's place to pick up the wind? It will do the same job. The battery is only supplying power to the first motor, the first motor drives the generator, but if you remove both the battery and the first motor, the generator would be dead.

  • Now connect the generator output to the motor input... probably the batteries will last much longer.

  • heys thanks man.. :)

  • generators don't have batteries..

  • @FadingDesire Thanks for the comment. The battery is on the "Motor" side on the right. It runs the motor to drive the "Generator" which is the reverse rotation of the same type of motor. Please refer to description above and click on "Show more."

  • @FunSciEdu

    My point was, your turning ~3v into a .5 - 1.5v speaker.

If you can turn the first gear with anything but electricity, then you have a generator. Your simply re-generating electricity at a loss..

  • hey man..was just wondering....did u step-up the current to to make the chime ring??

  • @addmaths09

The piezo speaker, with a simple voice chip, originally powered by button battery is taken out, and connected the terminals to the generator (black motor). There is no added power to run the voice module, simply reversing the rotation of a motor to generate electricity.

    Thanks for you question.

  • thats pretty cool. add a light to it and measure the voltage output. a bigger gear on the motor will add rpm to the generator. i made one it works good
