To use the analogy: whether the ship approaching has a negative or positive agenda really is not the question. But OTOH she and Bill have done a great work over years on edgy subjects without financial reward, mostly out of passion and idealism. I think Kerrie is right in a sense that humanity must be careful, not to trust any ET¨s until proven they are fair. And Dr. Greer is in my opionion right in a sense humanity must spiritually evolve and overcome duality. Imagine that you were to visit an alien world, you'd only want to land and visit if you knew that you aren't going to get shot, stabbed, stoned, captured, tortured, disected, and who knows what else.
A reason why alien life doesn't land, is that perhaps they are as vulnerable as we are. But from a scientific, technological point of view, we are no threat to them. So all we can offer is peace. Greer is saying, we can get no where with a negative atttitude, but anywhere with the positive. Deep.

If an alien species approaches in hostility, we should still project peace. It shows maturity and displays an inviting attitude to alien beings.
