the thing i did is i took my psp apart (removed the faceplate then the backplate) then grabbed the umd door (but I bought an extra door in-case i break it) then used a cutter.works perfectly fine.

I've been thinking of doing this for a while, I'm modding my PSP to be Steampunk, and thought it would look nice if the back was see-through, like the back of some pocketwatches. Later I may wire it up with some LEDs after I get more experience (this will be my first mod)

Do what looks good for you and not for other people. You could also have little led lights in their that come on when the game's playing. The spinning of the UMD would do amazing things with that light XD

@Garrador666 Use low temp hot glue+low temp hot glue gun. They sell it at walmart. It safe for foam and other arts and crafts things like plastic.

@Garrador666 u can use plastic glue but use very little because it melts the plastic so what ever you put there adheres to the plastic when it drys which is fairly quickly
