Yes, but then again, boys in that age can sing high enough. I clearly remember singing in the the school choir when our teacher divided the choir in two voices (this is some +30 years ago, i.e. I was 10?). We were only two boys in the choir of 20 people and some of the girls sang lower than my pal and me.

Well, as a recent convert to boy choirs, I'm not sure who Josh is. Can you give me a rundown on the history of Libera? I take it they started as a church choir (forgive my memory), became Angel Voices and then Libera. Is this correct?

I know it is difficult to imagine what a boy will look like as a man, but there is one boy, if I could draw, I could do a portrait of him as a 50-year old! I think he is the third from the point on our right. The boy with hair hanging over his left eye.

Libera is the publicly performing boys section of St. Philip's church, in South London. As far as I know, all the boys in that sing at St. Philips, sing in Libera. The exception to that would be the little boys, the "mini-boys", who learn to sing with the choir at St. Philips before singing publicly with Libera.

Libera started out as St. Philips Boys Choir, when they started becoming more well known and they started publicly performing and recording albums, they changed their name to Angel Voices (1990). In 1998, they changed their name again, to Libera. Libera still performs at Sunday services, at St. Philips church, but the boys who make up Libera practice all different faiths. YouTube user LiberaUSA (who posted this video) has a fansite, called Libera Dreams, where there is a lot more information!

Haha, I take a while to type ;-) More on the subject of Josh, his middle name is Nathan :-) Jakob Wood is also a cousin of Josh, Sam and Alex (Sam's brother). A very talented family! It would be nice to know a little more about the boys... its hard enough to come by their names on the internet!

The boys in this video are (from the viewers left to the viewers right!) Tom Cully, Liam Connery, Ed Day, Zack Lockett, Joe Snelling (at the tip of the triangle) Mini-Ben Philip, Michael Veryacken, Sam Leggett and Josh Madine. Josh and Sam are cousins. I also read somewhere that Tom's heritage was Indian, but I don't know that for a fact!

Sam Leggett is one of my favorites! I think he's been getting a fair amount of air time recently as one of the principal lower vocalists, but of course, I'd also love to see more from him.

I've been dying to know Tom Cully's ethnicity for ages. Actually, Josh's and his family's, as well.
