  • Well alright, coo.

  • Well alright, coo.

  • I'm not sure what I like the best about this video....

    the ukulele?

    you?

    the lyrics?

    your shirt?

    your voice?

Perhaps it's best to say that I absolutely enjoyed your song. The lyrics are very sweet and the use of a ukulele only adds to it.

    brilliant.

  • Wow. This is going to be a ringtone too.

    So cute. I love it.

And I totally have that shirt. Kudos to it. :)

    Keep singing. It's wonderful.

  • :O

    wowzers.

  • ...what?

  • ah sorry. means good xD super good.

  • Is it a good day now?

  • omg. Your amazing. I love you.

  • Aw sweet.

    Today's a good day.

  • It is? How about now?

  • I don't know. It just started.

  • AND he's a ukulele player? *double gasp!* Your lower register singing voice gives me shivers. Well, your voice generally gives me shivers, but your lower register is especially shiver-inducing. I love your music. Make a CD... NOW! Oh, and I like your shirt.

  • You're nice.

I hope you have a good day.

  • **ending IS

    (sorry)

  • So. I think this might be my favorite.

    Who is it written to?

    The girlfriend?

By the way. The ending if pretty funny. :D

  • haha. No girlfriend here.

  • No way.

    ...

    Ahhh boyfriend?

  • No no no no. No boyfriend either. No desire for boyfriend.

I'm just not very good at the girlfriend game, I guess.

  • Just asking.

Eh, girls can be terrifying. You know what they say about practice.

    :]

  • haha. I don't think it works that way.

  • Perhaps.

    Don't worry.

You'll find someone amazing some day.

  • haha. It's looking doubtful at the moment.

  • I can see why you get bombarded with so many proposals on here - this was so sweet! :) The ukelele was a nice change from the ever-popular but slightly-cliched guitar (don't get me wrong, I <3 guitars, but it's nice to see something different once in a while), and the song was adorable. :) I loved it!! <333

  • haha. Adorable? Well that sounds like a good thing. : )

  • Haha it is. :)

  • Just super

    Rocket

  • Haha. No, I don't have a band, and I'm not in one either... No one really likes music where I live. There's no enrichment : (. I kind of wish my town had a decent music program, but oh well... You take what you can get, I suppose.

Thanks all the same though : ).

  • Freakin great! Love the lyrics, the melody, the hair, the t-shirt, etc. You DO have a band, don't you? I can tell your an eclectic individual when it comes to music. We need more people like you in music nowadays!

  • Very nice! I'm trying to think of something else to say, other than I liked it very much. Hmmm. It made me want to learn the ukelele and then that tune. There we go! ;)

  • Haha. Yay?

  • Hey bro, Thats pretty good. I like the tune. I was singing it in my kitchen yesterday. Im not as good but Im trying with the uke.

  • haha... Oh I'm not good... I just wanted to chuck something onto the internet, that's all.

I'm glad you like it though. Thanks : )

  • Man it's cool to find other instruments other than Piano and Guitar (even though I'm a pianist myself) I rlly enjoyed your voice, has that surfer laid back feel oh yea LA LAL AL LAAA and catchy

  • Haha. Surfer, huh? That's a new one... Sweet. Thanks : )

  • Somehow this got posted to my inbox, I'm usually labelled as a hater, so if I say it's good, it probably is.. Reminds me of early Bolan ?

Though, I'd expand the lyrics a bit !

  • Sorry, I don't know how it got to your inbox. : -/.

But, you had something constructive to say. Thank you.

  • I'll have to confess, I think I sent it to him.

  • Hoorah! Mystery solved.

  • hit people with ukuleles

  • Is that an order or request?

  • request

  • Hey! brother, anything for the advancement of the Kingdom of God.

  • Great job. Unique chord progressions for the uke. Maybe

he will be this generation's Tiny Tim except more talented.

  • Ohh man... haha, that's pretty funny. It made me laugh, in fact. I've never listened to Tiny Tim, but I'm sure he did some pretty nifty stuff with that there ukulele.

Thanks all the same though. : )

  • Cool.

  • Wow- this is great!!! Keep up the composing, uke, and guitar. This inspires me to post some of my original stuff.... if I can fit it into the time slot... Awesomeness!

  • Yeah, for some reason, the ukulele is just so easy to write with. It's just kind of... simplifies things, you know?

  • That's it, I'm gettig a uke! Any suggestions as to what brand?

  • I wouldn't feel confident in telling you any particular brand to get... I don't have much basis for comparison. : -/ sorry.

  • I can definitely understand that. Not to mention the wonderful sound that comes out of it.

  • True. A tone all its own.

  • My comment is somewhat similar to Abbey above. Im 50 and the only ukulele I ever heard was Tiney Tim (who I don't rememeber really played) and attending a dinner at a Hawaiian Luau. But I never truly heard the sound of the instrument and it is very pleasing and unique. Very good job. I can only presume you must play the guitar.

  • Yeah... Uke is far from being my main instrument. It's a fun little mini version of my guitar though. I like it.

  • I agree, do some more originals as well, i never knew this one was an original till now.(Nice Work) I wish i could write songs as well as this!

  • Haha. You're the coolest. By the way, I liked your singing in "Don't Know Why." Preeeeeeettty super.

  • Haha, a Jake Shimabukuro in the making! Nice one x

  • Haha, that's rad. It's nice t be compared to someone like that.

  • Well your very good, you shouldn't be surprised to hear such comparisons (: hope to hear more from you in the future!

  • Sent here by Guitmartiman -- great voice and you are a natural on that ukulele! I also liked the song :)

  • Thanks!

  • i thought that great...you sounded like a pro on that thing : ) great song and voice!

  • Haha... Maybe not a pro, but I like to think I've made progress since I picked up the thing ; ).

  • Look out Tiny Tim!!

  • Well, I don't know, Tiny Tim was/is(?) a comedian, not a musician. I think it's great that people are starting to take the uke more seriously. Have you heard Jake?

  • LOL - I just wrote that because Tiny Tim was the only uke player I could recall off hand. After listing to this again - WOW. Terrific playing and an excellent voice as well. I think I'll feature it on my page in hopes a few others will see. Thanks for writing and take care!

  • Aww.... He's a comedian? I didn't know that...

  • I love your voice!!!

  • Uh-oh! : -o

  • Do some more originals. You're good. Catchy melody. It makes me want to listen again. In fact, I think I will!

  • Sweet, a comment that means something! Haha, thanks!

  • I could easily see this song in the top 40! It's a feel good song. I love it! Israel Kamakawiwo'ole (Somewhere Over the Rainbow/What A Wonderful World) would have loved it. I just discovered him a little over a year ago. And have you heard Jake Shimabukuro play While My Guitar Gently Weeps on a uke? Now there's a uke player on steroids.

  • haha, I actually got that song today : ). And yes, Jake Shimabakuro is one of the reasons I decided to get a uke... I only wish I could play like him, haha.

  • Give youself a chance! You've just started...and your stil way young. Jake didn't start out that good. Neither did The Beatles for that matter. I can see you have some serious raw talent. Develop it.

  • I can only see what the future holds. Thank you.

  • great job!

  • Haha thanks. : )

  • Haha, I got my first uke for Christmas too. That's a pretty cool coincidence.

  • Swweeet uke tune, dude! Coincidentally, I bought my first ukulele this X-mas! Anyway, nice.
