hey, s-something just pop-up in my head, i-i-it´s not a point of view nor a "they must stop fighting" statement, well w-what i want to say, no, to ask is...why? why does kaguya fight mokou? it doesn´t make sense, and before any of you say anything, let me tell you we´ve never, NEVER HEARD, READ OR KNOWN OF ANY REASON FOR KAGUYA TO DO IT.

It´s...just...that...she has no reason, and it can´t be self-defence, because we know kaguya sometimes is the one that attacks first, so...why? think about it

And P.S It feels good to know you won against your enemy.

@sonofrose Kaguya fights Mokou because Mokou is always trying to kill her over and over as both can revive and reincarnate due to the Horai elixir they both took.

History: Kaguya refused to marry Mokou's father which pretty much screws over Mokou's entie life from there on and decides to take revenge and takes a horai elixir. She becomes immortal, and on the same level as Kaguya. However, she regrets it as everyone she loves dies. So she dedicates herself to killing Mokou.-Touhou

@sonofrose Let me make it simple then. She's an immortal with a mind of a child, and what does a child do with an eternity? Gets Bored, so what does she play? Danmaku. The only one who is equal to her? Mokou. So they fight even though it will be a draw.

Second reason: What do you do with assasins? Kill them. Is Mokou a assasin even though self proclaimed? yes. So what do you do? You defend yourself from Mokou's constant attacks.

Third: Because this is F***king Gensokyo.

You play Danmaku with a vampire trapped in a basement for 496 years, fight a maid who can control time, a demon who could eat your history if she chose to, a slightly insane mage, a broke shrine maiden, an embodiment of a phoenix, another shrine maiden and her gods, and a scientist who goes into Gensokyo to prove magic exists, and much more.

Gensokyo: You don't need a reason to play Danmaku. Flandre proved it.

Kaguya, long black hair moon princess is the lady everyone on Earth wants to marry. Mokou's father being one of them. Kaguya has five "impossible" requests that whoever completes all of them she will marry. Mokou's father I guess died from attempting it and then Mokou hates Kaguya so much. They both got ahold of the Hourai Elixer(this thing that gives one eternal youth) so now they are both immortals and sworn enemies.

@KooHooP Sorry for the late reply, it's like this, Kaguya (brunette) rejected Mokou's father marriage proposal in a way that was deemed humiliating and really hurt him (some variations include him committing suicide). Mokou vowed to kill her in revenge, which Kaguya found hilarious since she's cursed with immortality. And because she's a royal bitch, she decided to "share" her curse of immortality with Mokou, They have been mauling each other pointlessly ever since.

You know after playing this game myself and making it this far, this is possibly the funniest fight in the game. Because it isn't so much as a boss fight as it's more of you just getting caught in the middle of these two trying to maim each other. 1. Kaguya is a mega bitch. She drank the Hourai Elixir for selfish reasons and pretty much dishonored many princes whos asked for her hand by forcing them to do an impossible task. She could have just said no and had given a reason.

1- Granted, Kaguya is a selfish bitch.

2- Treating Youmu as Sephiroth is kinda unfair, just because she wields a katana (not a nodachi) and has white hair. Personality-wise, she's a complete opposite.

3- Safety measures, since Flandre is far too destructive and mentally unstable to be let out on the loose. Remilia is merely thinking about the safety of everyone in the Scarlet Devil Mansion. Plus, Flandre's free to roam the mansion's corridors, just not go outside.
