  • Can we say hello top end rebuild?

  • oops there goes the exaust valve

  • this will screw you over in the end, no back pressure is a bad thing.

  • @ACountryBoy4X4 agreed

  • have fun replacing ur valves and pretty much the whole exhaust system ur looking at a good $800 fix

  • I did the same thing and rode around for about 30 minutes. I don't know about the valves, but it started to choke off, and I realized I had melted a hole in the damn air box

  • You need back pressure so that you valves won't just give up on you. Your back pressure is like 5% without it, and the valves will just pretty much quit working, You know?

  • @JoeyJokester11 oh ok well i got me a new muffler now and it is much better.

  • how long can it be ridden before the valves get messed up or whatever? I just did this to my recon and it is extremely loud haha ;)

  • @jdawgy87 as soon as you start riding it like that, the engine needs back pressure, (from the muffler) or it wont run the way its supposed to. it will murder the valves because they wont lift and return in the correct time

  • @IceCreamSteve1 haha dude no

my cousins 200s is straight pipe and been like that for years and it still runs like new

it all depends on the bikes jetting

  • @coshyno also true, but you cant ride it without an exhaust like the guy in the video.

  • @IceCreamSteve1 yes you can

    look at my 200s video

its straight pipe (no exhaust just the pipe)and its been like that for years and still runs like new

  • ok man, i got a new fourwheeler, im the one you told how to get the muffler off a while back on my recon. i got a honda rubicon 500, i took all the bolts out and that little SOB will NOT come of just by pulling. ie greased it, pulled it checked to see if there were any more bolts, didnt find any, and cannot get it off. HELP ME PLEASE!!!

  • ive never worked on a rubicon.. hopefully someone else can help ya

  • @xzachx2112 i got the same one just a 09 and do u no were i can get a plow for it even though its 2 wheel drive plz respond

  • ur valves r gunna b fucked i tried it and it screwed mine up

  • Do you know why it fucks up the valves? It's not RUNNING the engine with no exhaust that fucks up the valves, it's the valves cooling RAPIDLY afterwards.

If you get an exhaust plug, it'd be absolutely fine. Rapid cooling destroys the valve's protective coating.

It's the same exact thing as a pot. Have you ever had a lady yell at you for dumping water on a pot, after you were done cooking, because the steam amuses you? It destroys the non stick teflon coating.

  • why would i mess up the vavles?

    plz respond

  • I really dont think it will do anything to your valves.. at all

  • @xzachx2112 your not that smart are you it can burn you valves by not having back pressure and in the cold it can warp a vale by cooling off to soon little own to get water in it

  • @xzachx2112 yes it will the exhaust (or lack of it) affects the jetting & the valves. it can cause a lean effect & DEFINITELY shorten your engine's life

  • @randomfunnyguy1 it will kill the valves because of not as much back pressure.. dont do it

  • bet your neighbors love you

  • haha my preppy suburban neighbors fuckin hate me! theyre too scared to come outside and ask me to stop doing whatevers bothering them so they waste the police's time and call them to tell me "please stop"

  • @xzachx2112 Tell them to fuck off!!

  • it will mess up valves, i think...

  • not if you have headers

  • i just took the muffler off my quad.... will it hurt leaving it off?

  • I wouldnt recomend leaving it off for a long time

  • if you want to bend some valves

  • no it wont

my cousins 2000s has been straight pipe for years and stills runs like new

  • ya it messes up the valves

  • it is loud.. wwhen i changed the exhaust on minei startedit... and damn lol.. but runnign it like this will deffitanly fry your piston

  • is the muffler sheild supposed to look like it welded onto the muffler? mine does.

  • so just the big part of the muffler comes off. will the hurt my fourwheeler if i keep it off?

  • probably not, it will just hurt your ears lol

  • so the two where the motor is and the one on the muffler?

  • NO keep the pipe coming off of the motor. just the two where the MUFFLER is and the one attatching the muffler to the pipe

  • how did u take the muffler of? are there just bolts or what? is there any work to do beside taking it off? i have the same fourwheeler, and i want mine to sound like this. please answer this question.

  • just unbolt the two bolts above the exhasut that mount it to the frame, the unbolt the one just past where the heat sheeild is on the pipe, slide the muffler out and off and your good to go... but it is extremely loud!

  • mkae more vids of it staight piped !!

  • mAyBe...

  • please.......

i love the sound of straight pipe quad lol

  • Ill try to get some up, just subscribe

  • okk

  • Ive heard that a straight pipes give you power would removing it like that give you power ? im guessing it wouldnt but itd be cheap

  • I didnt really notice much of a difference, I think gas engines still need a little back pressure for more power so I dont think this would help gain P but it wouldnt loose (maybe gain a little) plus it evacuates heat very quickly (=good)

  • i love these four wheelers so much fun

  • lol it scared the shit out of your dog

  • hahaha he was NOT expecting t to be that loud!!

  • Plus with the muffler off I bet that bitch dont even have half the power it does with it on I almost cant even spin my tires in the dirt with the the muffler off and I can white smoke them on the highway if I have it on. And like the guy sayed it will fuck your 4weeler up and thats not fun.

  • if you rejet your carb its supossed to have double the power

  • HAHAHAHA double the power if you rejet? Wrong. You will loose power on a engine like that by removing the muffler. And you NEED to rejet! If you dont rejet to run with no muffler you will end up running lean and that is how you end up with wrecked valves or a siezed up engine.

  • how come i did this to my 3 wheeler 4 years ago and its still runs like new ??

  • Running no muffler dont meen you will have engine falure. It just meens you will run lean/hot. Check your spark plug. if its white your super lean.

  • Running no muffler normaly makes yo uloose low end power and gain top end power. Thats why dragsters have such short exhausts and low hp bike/quad engine will work the same way as that it might just loose power every where.

  • Good!

  • That will blow it up if youo it to much...take my word for it!

  • dont worry, I only had the pipe off for as long as this video... right after I shut it off I put the pipe back on.
