Love my green 010. Getting 21mpg on the highway with 89 octane. Got it in January here in Ohio. Goes like a tank in the snow and mud. Never had a problem. It's a pain to wax near the plastic, but painter's tape helps. Mom is elderly, but she has ramped up her travels since I bought this, I think she likes riding in it. She never called much when I had the '03 Olds Aurora. Hmmm?
@edward500mp congrats they are great little suvs, i have an 08 blue, having tranny problems though a lot of slipping and the engine idles rough, bought it to toyota 3 times they swear theres nothing wrong so i may have to get rid of her, but damn will i miss driving in the snow, never once did i get stuck
I actually had planned to get one until I drove this one and realized that it got like 18MPG on premium unleaded. The fuel cost wasn't worth it. If they made a diesel, I'd likely have bought one but premium unleaded in a truck? No thank you.
hey tony how r u? just a quick tip... when u off-road always use ur 2 feet for ur 2 pedals i can see u used one foot cuz on 1:02 u c the fj roll back and in some circumstances that can be dangerous ;)
The bad thing is in these expensive gasoline times, this thing has a taste for premium fuel and isn't very efficient with it. I actually thought I'd want one until I had to put gasoline in it.
No, but it runs best and has the most performance with it. This is seriously a vehicle that could benefit from a good diesel engine. Better low-end torque and fuel economy as well.
Hiya, Rocket. Actually, the back seat is rather "dark." In other words, the windows are rather small and so the back seat passengers definitely get the, er, back seat treatment. Plus ingress/egress is poor.

Wow premium fuel only? That makes things more difficult :(

@bader175 Thanks! Honestly the off-roading was not as serious as it looked in the video - filmmaker tricks.

Actually it's not mandatory to use premium fuel, you can use regular.

The one I used was a Toyota press vehicle. Honestly, I don't remember if it had that or not now.

Does the view for the rear passengers suck? or can they see out ok?
