My last 2 15s setup played down to 24hz with authority. I have a level 5 18 right now and it hits lows great and is quite musical.

Also they are not neodymium magnets so they wont be very peaky either, but the XL is really musical, the regular level 4s are my favorite for music by far. @tmaxxmonster2 1, it might not be exactly 3400 watts but it was damn close. dual 1 sub running at .5 ohms. box is 1.75 cubes at 35hz and thats what rusty, the owner of dc audio gave me the box specs to build for my car. 2, you may have heard your friends get scary as shit but you didnt hear this system, you only saw the youtube videos

@miltnxc123 if you run 2 level 5s off 1 3400 your only gonna be giving 1700 watts to it. if you did that you would need 2 dual 2 subs. in my opinion, i would get a 5000 watt amp and put each on 2500 watts. youll be slammin and the subs will be at what theyre rated for

Hey man I see in the description you say you have the gain all the way down. Thats not good to send that kind of signal to your sub. You basically telling your amp that it receiving a 9 volt signal from your head unit when it's only receiving a 4 volt signal. Its ok to have the bass boost off on your amp and sub level down on the head unit. I would always still have the gain at 4 volts where it belongs with this head unit. Will it kill your sub to have it down No but still not good.
