  • you are a pussy

  • it loox kinda hard to turn

  • @bernicefan

    good english

  • that has to be anoiying to solve parity

  • I've heard that it doesn't have a parity. I don't know how, but whatever.

  • Tats pretty cool

  • i call it... VOIDAMINX lol nice puzzle

  • You can also buy it from Mefferts.

  • this was made long before they started selling them

  • there shld be parity rite?

  • they are selling these at the hk now store!

  • not yet they havent released them yet -_-

  • nope.. this is the guy who made them... Lee Tutt

  • Oh.. I didn't know cause on the site they just said they had to ask. And because I never ordered from the HK NOW STORE

  • im happy to see this will soon be for sale at mefferts!

    congrats :)

  • That is awesome X50,000

  • o m g thats like a voidminx

  • Comment removed

  • why not just call it a voidaminx

  • because holeymegaminx is both clever and a pun

  • not even close

  • it wouldn't turn or stay together

  • how did you...

  • check out the void cube

  • I'd guess it comes apart easily. You seem to be handling it extremely delicately...

  • gets headache for thinking of megaminx parity

    imagine a void giga/teraminx :o

    talk about a monster puzzle!

  • void peta

  • omg there was a petaminx in the mail today

  • there's only 1 petaminx made so far.... on ebay... i dont think it would be in the mail...

  • i mean the mail as in the the newspaper :)

  • ooooh i see what u mean =o. i was in the newspaper.. about a competition my friend held. also they had 1 where a dude makes like rubix cube art. makes like the famous pictures like the mona lisa.. its kewl

  • megaminx revolution!

  • holyshit a void megaminx cool u are a ledgend for making it

  • voidaminx

  • does it go fast or is just slow

  • Does this use the same rail system as the Void Cube, or does it use an entirely different mechanism?

  • Very Different!

  • holy santa clause shit!!! can you imagine if i had this when i was twelve???

  • void megaminx O:

  • Amazing to me no matter what!

  • beast

  • how do you make that??

  • now that there is a void cube and a void minx, i think someone should make a void siamese cube!

  • no there should be a void 5x5 cube

  • that wouldnt be possible though. think what would happen when you turned a middle layer. the pieces would come off.

  • why? you can just drill a hole through the cross and make it as big as the whole center piece with some modifications.

i didnt think of making the 9 innner centerpieces disappear

  • that would be possible.

  • didnt i say it?

  • D8

    WOW!

  • Let's see the Tuttminx!

  • HoleyCrap!!!

  • Void Minx

  • thats awesome!!!!!!!

  • cool!!

    a void megaminx XD

  • looks like it doesn't turn so good, but still, an innovation

  • ITS A VOID MIX!

  • awesome

  • how it works?

  • it's like a void cube

  • how the hell does that turn?

  • ball barings and stuff like that

  • like c0rv377 said. It probably just pieces sliding on rails around each other.

  • How about naming it the Voidminx?

  • I like that Idea!

  • brilliant!

  • It's probably just like the Void Cube, with a circular track/railing that the pieces slide along. Why must we make this so complex?

  • it's not magnetic, perhaps all the pieces hook on each other so it doesnt collaspe

  • i agree, i believe it uses the same basic mechanics of the void cube, which im pretty sure simply runs along grooves in the pieces

  • wait he probably took some small mirrors and put them in the center areas because if you look carefully through the center on the other side you should see his hand but instead you see nothing or it could be magnetic

  • look closer. You can see his hands.

  • Wow it's amazing how you managed to make it hollow!

  • yeah! its either a hollow core, or magnetic.

  • its NOT magnetic

  • Hmm, how so? I cant fully understand it...

  • Each piece "holds on" to the one next to it. thats the easiest way to explain it i guess. there are no magnets in here. magnets really are a sub-par method of puzzle making, and hardly ever used. unless the puzzle is specifically a magnetic one (example: dice puzzles)

  • i think there is a track where the paices hook on to

  • that is amazing that you could keep them all together without a core, very nice.

  • It probably works like an electric train. There is a rail of magnets on the pieces. Or maybe im just wrong

  • how does it even work lol there isnt anything for the pieces to spin on

  • idk it probably has latches that hook onto the pieces or something

  • yeah something like that

  • Why give me a t-down for giving an opinion?

I didn't even say the video sucks or is "gay" or other stupid comments worth giving a t-down to.

  • Because it isn't an opinion, it's simply incorrect. Also, I don't see you building one of these anytime soon. It's quite an engineering feat that Lee Tutt was able to build it.

  • i bet you dont

  • the pyraminx crystal turns more than 5 edge and 5 corner pieces, it turns the "second" layer of edges too

  • just because the centers aren't there, doesn't mean you can ignore them. its like making all the centers on a 3x3 the same color, you still need to orient the edges around the right centers, or you'll run into parity.

  • on megaminx, it doesn't matter

  • omg i love it already

  • lots of people

  • holey, as in "has holes in it" its a play on words

  • im guessing magnetic.

  • how in the world does it not fall apart?

  • i want one lol

  • I can see the relation between this and the void cube, since the Megaminx and 3x3 have the same mechanism, but I don't unstand how this or the Void cube works. Awesome job!

  • This is an amazing puzzle! Great job Lee.

  • When the megaminx was made, i'm sure no one ever imagined this, great work as always lee

  • I guess Joe Schmoe can't call fake on this one any more. Amazing and outstanding job, Lee.

  • Beautiful

  • Amazing...

  • Looks great lee! Please post other videos if possible!

  • nice, same way as the void cube mech?
