I reall, really hate the break damage limit system in ff. while it's good to break the damage limit, I think by applying some kind of uncapped yet reasonable damage system, FF series will become much more intereting. For example:

The Damage from a physical attack with 255 str should not exceed 10 000 damages. Magic damage should do more damage than physical attack, mybe basic fire magic should do 1.2x or 1.3x more damage tahn normal physiscal attack.

@enalbidin Exactly - creating what is called a "soft cap" is the best way ie. the damage limitation simply comes from the fact that there's a limit to how high you can get your stats etc.

as for summons, the summon monsters must be very strong, has powerful attacks that can even exceed character's limit break damage but the cost to maintain the summon monsters must be very high... when i play ffx, it's stupid coz a simple staff tap from yuna can do the same damage as anima's oblivion.

Own either the International or PAL version of the game and defeat all Dark Aeons which will be extremely hard due to the fact that their health is at no less than 1 million except Dark Valefor which is 800000 and their high stats which are at 200 or more.

Once they are all defeated a cutscene showing Penance being summoned will be shown and you will now have a new destination on the airship.

Penance has 12 million hp so be prepared.

Have you even played FF10? This is Penance, it has more HP than any other creature in the game, and probably many other Final Fantasy games. If you don't use these hacks (or Zanmato) It will take at least 40 (that's right 40) straight minutes. That is, if you have all abilities and Hyped up HP and stats, and if you know what your doing.

No, is possible with much much training!!!! Reset all hp spaces and put others hp spheres there in master sphereography, where the hp was 200 before, with new hp sphere now will be 400, where was 40 hp with the Hp sphere now will be 80! But maximum hp possible with this mode is 70.8....! So for do 99.999 hp we have delete mp sphaces and put others HP Spheres there! 99,999 HP is possible if you double your hp using stamina tonic, but your current HP must not be lower than 50,000 to reach that high amount of HP. However, I still think breaking damage of 99.999 is not possible unless you use a gameshark.

Well It's completely obvious that this isn't LEGITIMATE. Anyone who's ever played the game knows about the damage limits. Besides, Auron can hit 99,999 in my game at 5000/9999HP with less that 200 strength and no cheer bonuses, so I imagine that with 1/99,999HP or whatever it is, it IS possible to hit upwards of 2 million damage IF through a code, the damage limit was lifted.
