@ladybren47 Congrats! Socks are really a wonderful thing to watch come together when you knit them for the first time. Hope you have lots more sock knitting in your future :)
@TediBearMafia345 If you are working with a sock yarn, you would want a needle size between 0-2, depending on your gauge. If you are using thicker yarn like dk or worsted weight, you would want to use between a 6-8 size needle.
@janisrealtor for magic loop, you usually can use a 32" - 40" circular needle. Sometimes you can go shorter than than, but it makes it much trickier to work. I would suggest starting at a 32" and if you feel you need more slack on your loops, try the 40" circular needle.
omg..... i am just getting started in knitting and you made it so easy for me. love your demo... i just love how you explane everything and doing everything step by step... i cant wait to see all your other video...
This is a great video. I've bought books on Magic Loop, downloaded instructions, etc, but there is nothing like actually seeing someone do it. The closeups of the knitting (and Kelly's clear narration) are priceless. Other videos I've watched on YouTube are helpful, but don't have the clearness of this particular video.
i did it ..i did it..whoohoo now i understand thx first sock in progress...
