This was one of the first albums that started my interest in his style of music. Each on of his pieces caused me to feel hope, faith, pleasure, happiness, and pride. As a man of color, his music helped me to deal with the way society was back then. Thank you Donald Byrd.
This album has a spring or autumn Sunday evening feel about it. Will there ever again be music like this in the future? If anyone's interested, the back cover shows the ladies legs. Fantastic post, JoolsFonty.
do remember this is a lower east side of manhattan favorite.....especially if you grew up in the 70's as a teenager

Beautiful tune indeed. People need to stop comparing Donald Byrd with Miles Davis, they both got there own style of music.
