Always liked this tune. I always play this alongside Run Little Girl by Donnie Elbert....those two just flow good together....

Thank you! I forgot all about Run Little Girl. Yes, they do blend very well. They're almost counter melodies of each other. I'll have to try blending them one day to see if they work as counter melodies

Good tune. Also reminds me a bit of the Barbara Acklin sound out of Chicago. Now we've got a good geographic spread goin'.

Kinda reminds me of "Cant hurry Love" by the Supremes.. But at the same time this is an all together diffrent sound .
Really love the soul in Ann's Voice on the last verse!!!!

I know what you mean with the Supremes thing.. This reminds me of some of the mid 60's Philly stuff that came out on Cameo/Parkway

I agree with you on that one PJDooWop! Sounds sort of like Candy & The Kisses when they were recording for Cameo. It sounds nothing like the Supremes (or The Primettes). This one's truly a Philly stomper!!! Great post. Keep 'em comin'!
