  • I have seen those cars some times where I live, I live almost in trollhättan were saab lies :)

  • I know I posted a long time ago, but..................

When I got to ride in a 2 stroke Sonnett, it was at an auto show in Sharon PA. and I met Carroll Shelby! He had 2 cars there, an AC Cobra, and a Mustang Shelby. Awesome memories!

  • Saab Owners Buerau

  • geiler klang

  • Nice car, funny guy haha

  • and its def the 3 cylinder 2 stroke since it doesn't have the bulge in the hood

  • i think they are 4 cylinder.

  • crazy frog haahahaha

  • I owned one of those for years. It may have been that one. Mine was #69

  • Pretty sure this one is #211. I owned #000198 for 16 years. Yes kids, only 258 of these cars were *ever* built.

  • No, 1868 were built, but only 258 with the 2-stroke engine.

  • @TheSwedishRedneck I guess he means Sonett 2s, cause the V4s were just called Sonett V4s

  • @johnsurs22 casually, though I guess with the same body they were still Sonett 2s

  • my mum used to drive a saab II. she was a car freak, drove porsche and jeep too. she even joined the military just for the vehicles. that was in the sixties... me? I want a shelby. and a dodge charger :-)

  • its a weed-eater on crack. sweet little car that is!

  • sonett IIs are front wheel drive?? thats lame..

  • it is a rally car

  • 4-taktar lite på dem låga varven

  • 2 popper

  • i live in canada

and i cant seem to find any 2 stroke cars or bikes

where on earth were these things produced

and why not more of them!!??

  • I got a ride in one of the original 2 strokers in the 60's, brand new. I grew up on Saab's, wish I had one today.

    Doc

  • I'm not certain, but I'm almost positive that all of the V-4's were 4 stroke. Mine was.

  • This is the three cylinder. They were two-stroke. They were made earlier than the Taunus V4 versions.

  • It's a Sonnett II 2-stroke, there is a later Sonnett V4, same style body as the Sonnett II. All Sonnett III's ('70-'74) are the German Ford V4's.

  • it a 2 popper man.. very much a 2 popper

  • Its a V4 at least. The first series of Sonetts came with a 3 cylinder, but chances are huge that this is a V4. and Yeah it is two stroke.

  • if its a 2 stroke then it has the 3 cylinder. none of the V4's were 2 stroke

  • is it a 2 stroke or just knacked?

  • i saw a saab 2 popper at a vintage race one time, did well he did purple

  • Like the end lol

  • You're welcome :)
