Shit, even a cheap ass Mac Mini with 2GB of RAM and a "slower" processor (according to spec) will blow away a fully decked out Windows machine. Mac OS X is simply a faster and more efficient OS. For example, Firefox on a Mac takes up half as much memory and disk space. A Mac Mini boots up in 40 seconds (and you can use it, no fucking hour glass spinning). You click and app and it opens in 1-3 seconds. Even with Windows 7, PCs are still really slow. Lots of fast hardware to run a slow shit OS.

I saw these guys at 924 Gilman street and the dude playing drums climbed up on speakers (about 15') and jumped off onto his kit. Pretty cool. The sound was shit. This Youtube video sounds way better. Now that I can actually hear what they are playing, I'd say this band isn't as shitty as I thought.

You can shell script to your heart's desire and control/script pretty much everything. You're just mad because a Mac with "decent PC specs" costs twice as much. saw them in portland about two years ago. holy fuck... i knew i liked them before, but seeing them live was like being touched by the hand of god or something. the crowd was completely packed, people would be crowd surfing for a good 5 minutes because there was just no place to go. people were being pushed into the set, and the chippendale the drummer was able to avoid hands and keep the beat going to whole time. in my opinion brian chippendale is one of the best drummers in the world.

I have seen them live and they had their thing going on , i like the way they produce their mad sounds and i this psycho drummer how plays non stop , their albums sound very composed but to be honest , after 15 minutes listening to them live it all sounded the same and was just a drag going for one hour and something , good band but no dynamics or structure what so ever when playing live , Yeah right - Chaos is cool , but people tend to be victims of it rather than tame it
