I prefer a hinault to a merckx who doesn't spend his time to make a show as there is a camera. Hinault did his job, the rest is a cinema. Stop to say all the time, eddy is the greatest, the best, the strongest, it's ridiculous and above all, you encourage him to earn money while he smiles in front of the cameras.

Besides that, after his active cycling career he worked very hard to start a factory which produces up till today very good bicycles!
He was coach of the Belgian national team when Museeuw became world champion in Lugano 1996, and you should only take a look on how many projects (like Damiaanactie, etc) he supports.. keep that in mind, don't just call it "waving at the cameras"
Not Eddy at all. There is a Belgian guy who rides on the roads before and during European pro races who is dressed like Eddy - he is called the Retro Eddy Merckx
That is a recent video, since at the start you see a banner of "topsport vlaanderen" , who did not exist when Merckx was active. I think it is the real Eddy Merckx , but an older version at a exhibition race.
