  • predators forever hate the redwings......go preds!!!!!

  • The game where we destroyed the red wings 8-0. Probably the 2nd best game against the red wings behind the game 3 of the 2008 playoffs.

  • Hey all of you red wings fans I know this all from last year but shut up look at your team this year they are in the same predicament as we were last year and we are in the top 8 so shut up.

  • well preds beat wings 4-2 this year and preds didnt even make the playoffs burn

  • Bye bye Nashville. Have a nice summer.

  • Did Pred TV get this published up yet? I was down in Nashville for this game when it was shown.. and DAAAAAYYYUUUMMM was it a great video to watch.. I want a legit copy though...

  • you read it, you read it really well, thats why you responded, just get ur old grandpa too high paid team ready for the playoffs because if we stop winning where we wong end up it 5th or 6th, then well see you there i hope we stay right here in 7th, im ready for ur cockwings, cuz the RED WINGS SUCCKKKKKKK

  • WTF is King babbling about?

Funny thing is she thinks someone will read her voluminous bulshit. NOT.

  • how does it feel for ur allstar team to get beat 4-3 by a rookie/3rd and 4th line team 4-3 in shitroit, dont say anything else again ur shit talking is just getting deeper, i cant even see ur shit city anymore cuz ur shit got so deep

  • and their payroll last 15 years could fund the national debt, if we didnt have such a great football team unlike ur shit city maybe more people would put up more money for hockey so we could buy some cups, but i honestly like low payroll team that makes the playoffs and splits series with u guys every year, wings need to keep winning, they are the only thing good in ur whole damn city, cant wait to whipe yalls faces in playoffs

  • damn ur badass team got beat again by our sorry ass low payroll, good try

  • yeah and i love how radulov 2 years ago gets suspended in the playoffs for "leaving his feet" and that cheapshot artist kronwall did it twice last year and didnt even get a penalty but, then again your the red wings, referee cooking for the wings as usual, but your time is coming, we will beat you see you in the playoffs

  • yea go buy another cup once again, your payroll on ur first line is more then our whole team, i dont know about that game not meaning much, but to get beat 8-0 by a sorry ass team as you supposedly think nashville is, thats ridiculous, im about tired of hearing were saving our energy for the end, cuz ive played sports my whole life, and played college baseball, not once did i ever say im out of energy i got to save it so thats a bunch of bull, i hope to God we play you in playoffs again thisyear

  • I really get the sense that Detroit is pacing themselves, like a smart warrior who knows that exhausting himself against inferior talent will deplete energy for the long haul. When Detroit falls down 3-0 or 4-0 against a team fighting for their playoff lives, they implode and concede to defeat....knowing the game is meaningless and the team has bigger fish to fry.

When Detroit faces a serious contender, they tend to dial up the intensity at will and muster their "A" game.

  • this makes me want to run through a GD brick wall.

  • go PREDS..can't wait until they beat the Wings in a series someday

  • 8-0

    enough said

  • Stanley Cup Rings.

    Any questions?

  • Comment removed

  • How did that help you get those 2 points?

  • By taking the night off against your team, resting because we played the night before, and then winning the next few games that really matter. Beating Nashville means very little.

  • Excuses, Professinal athletes do care when they get EMBARRSED. Especially if you are defending champs. Teams play back to back all the time. That is no excuse. It might excuse having tired legs in the third but it doesn't cover a 8-0 asswhoopin

  • Bryan, you're 22 years old and you can't even spell. Wing's slept against your precious Nashville squad. That fact that you hang your hat on one game is pathetic.

Regardless of what you think or assert, Nashville will alway be a first round punching bag...."IF" they make the playoffs.

  • LoL please be a spellchecker on youtube. Like I care about a typo on what I write on youtube. Your really reaching there buddy. How did last night's asswhoopin feel at home. I bet that tasted good. I don't see one person hanging their hat one game. Good job idiot, reinforce the sterotypes that detroit fans are arrogant cocky assholes. Honestly if I were you I'd go ahead and jump off a bridge.

  • First round tune up. Like a sparring parter before the big dance.

Detroit is in cruise control to a 1st or 2nd seed at worst. Columbus and Nashville fight ever night for their playoff lives.

  • Oh also I'm not 22 asshole. Good job bringing relevant to the table in your arguement. Have fun with Stuart,Kronwall and Leetch. Those guys are soooooo awesome!!!!!!!

  • Did you mean "relevance?". Stuart and Kronwall are two of the best defensemen in The NHL. I'd take either over ANY nashville defender.

  • really. u would take kronwall who hardly score, gets a few assists here and there, and doesnt hit much, rather than weber who scores, hits, fights?

  • "Doesn't hit much?" You need to do your homework, or youtube "kronwall hits". He led the post season with bone crushing hits, on after another. Why now and risk an injury? Why fight? We're in 1st place and have been in good positioning all year long. Detroit saves its best for last, and they've been pacing themselves.

  • dude. i watch every wings game cuz i get fsn detroit and its the only hockey besides vs that i get to watch, and bitchy ass micky reddmond when hes not complaining about how the game is played today always says "Krownwall has really been quiet this year, not mutch hitting, or scoring. He needs to return to the form he was last year in the playoffs against Nashville."

  • Wings, all Wings, ratchet it up during the playoffs. Mark my word...Kronwall will start throwing his weight around in the post season.

  • yeah well not tonight apperently, 4-3 nashville down 2-1 playing in detroit, having played the night before, and arnott legwand, and erat hurt!? the wings are a joke!

  • You're exemplifying my assertion you're a dumb shit> Detroit is locked in, Nashville is desperate. Detroit would never match their intensity (looks like you lost another player) and risk injury going in with 6 games remaining.

Detroit will have 50 wins in 4 straight seasons. Detroit has more wins in 15 yrs. than any team. More cups, more trophies, more all stars, more success than ANY team. But you say they're a joke.

  • I'll have fun with you come your 1st round exit and/or missed playoffs altogether.

Don't run and hide you dolt.

  • dude trust me, were not gonn lose to a team in the playoffs 3 times in a row. just you watch

  • You're not going to, but Nashville WILL.

  • One more note: Kronwall has a job to do. Our scorers do pretty well (most goals in The NHL). Not his primary position.

  • We don't really need the two points. We're not fighting for a playoff spot. If we lose here and there - so what? We're a safe lock for the playoffs anyway.

  • 1. You're in a race for the presidents trophy.

    2. Getting beat 8-0 means you have goaltending problems which means no cup.

    3. 8-2 Columbus (Good luck getting to the finals with Conklin)

  • 1. The President's Trophy isn't necessary to win the Cup.. so we don't really care about that. (Most of us.)

    2. We've always had average goaltending, it's our defense that has kinks to work out this season. It doesn't come as a surprise to any Wings fan that our goaltending is less than superior. We know this when our team is built from the defense out - with the last priority being between the pipes. In short, Defense - not Goaltending.

  • 3. And yet we're still a top NHL team - in the running for being #1 overall.

We don't have anything to worry about.. especially in regards to those two points vs. Nashville.

  • Why not? Conks has 6 shut outs as a back up...blanking powerhouses like San Jose and Chicago.

  • He has been yanked twice in the past 2 weeks. When he gets hot though he is one of the best in league. Your defense is just leaving him and Chris out to dry.

  • Our defense has some serious issues to work on. I have faith - as all fans do in their team.. but you're absolutely right about that. They're not helping our goalies out at all.

  • I concur. Sometimes a goalie can be as good as the defense in front of him, at least, in Detroit's case. With the exception of Hasek, Detroit has never had a goalie that can withstand 35 to 45 shots on goal and steal a game.

  • How's our goaltending now?

  • It would piss me off more if Columbus was winning the series. You might want to wait until you play a team with someone other than Rick Nash.

  • Nash, Crosby, Malkin, and every other hyperbole NHL player....same shit, different time.

  • Isn't anyone that plays in your division consider your rival? ("division rivals")

It is more of a one sided rivalry, but i base that statement on nothing. Nashville fans hate Detroit but it seems not many Detroit fans hate Nashville. Probably because they kick our ass every year in the standings.

  • Thanks for the upload - even when the Preds put out the original this one will stand out as having the crowd reaction on it.

  • I don't really think too many of the Wings fans really think it's a rivalry. I knew some people from Detroit at the game and they thought the video was cool and all but said not many people in Detroit really talk about us. I think Chicago is their traditional rival, and with them getting better, it's going to happen again. I personally don't expect Wings fans to lose sleep over us, but I can still enjoy it.

  • You nailed it, woodpeckers. Chicago has been our rival for some time - due to being part of the original six. Sure, we may feel some of those feelings on game day - but for the most part.. it's a one-sided rivalry.

More power to you guys, though. Whatever gets you pumped for the games, I say.

  • Oh yea; It's a rivalry! Ask ANY Red Wings fan or Preds fan at that game & they will tell you. I set in a high dollar section that was predominately Wings fans. They felt the rivalry. Maybe it was just those 15-20 people in 117. Don't be so arrogant, Wings' fans, and admit it: You hear our footsteps!!(record this year Detroit.2 wins; Nashville 2 wins!)

  • Actually... no. There's always going to be rivalry feelings between opposing fans AT GAMES. But the truth of the matter is that Wings fan in the Detroit are just don't care enough to HAVE rivalry feelings toward you guys.

Sorry to break it to you.

  • Of course you don't. Wouldn't expect any other response from a Wing fan.

Over the last 10 seasons the Wings have played more games against the Predators than any other team.

We are division rivals. Rivals being defined as: a person who tries to get or do the same thing as another, or to equal or surpass another; competitor.

Would your tune be different if you didn't get past us last year? Your beloved Wings were one bounce from getting ousted in the first round again.

  • No, my tune would be the exact same even if you beat us in the playoffs last year. I hold no harsh feelings toward the Predators, and as I just stated in a previous comment - I've never met anybody who does.

Rivals? Not on this end. When I think of rivals, I think of Colorado/Detroit in the last 90s. THAT was a rivalry.

  • Well to us Preds fans it IS a rivalry... and it shows whenever Wings fans invade Nashville like they own the place. We have a lot of pride and love to see the Preds beat the Red Wings more than any other in the NHL.

We've played two playoff series in the last 4 playoff seasons, and they've been great series. Maybe to teams that have been around for a century, that doesnt qualify as a rivalry. But to a franchise that's been around for just a decade, this does qualify as a rivalry.

  • Fair enough. I'm not trying to say that anybody is "wrong" in feeling a kind of rivalry. But I don't live down there and I don't talk to Preds fans often - so I wasn't aware that those feelings existed in Tennessee.

Over here, you won't find much of it.

  • Just as a side note, I post on a Red Wings forum periodically - and I will tell you that no matter who we're playing, the opposing fans seem to think we have a rivalry with them. Almost every single team.

I assume it's because the Wings are consistently a top team.. but this is why I raise my eyes at the "rivalry" thing in the first place. Everybody thinks they're our rivals. Everybody. But over here... we don't care enough to feel any of it.

  • Did you feel 8-0?

  • Sure, it sucked to lose 8-0. But with the way we were playing - horrible defensively, as if we had just gulped sleeping pills - Nashville deserved the win.

So it didn't bother me all that much. The better team that night won. I can't complain about that.

  • ......What rivalry?

There may be rivalry feelings over there, but we certainly don't feel any of that.

  • bull shit... Wings fans hate the Preds

  • I certainly don't hate the Preds. Nor have I met anybody who does.
