I hope the rabbits were moved to some place where they are cared for. But I must agree with the wiser commentors, these people are not heroes but terrorists! I have a rabbitry and it is for meat production, but I actually love my animals, they are my livelihood (farming is but rabbit meat not as much as my poultry). Yeah like the nest of 16 rabbit babies my neighbor ran over with his lawn mower last week they were doing quite well. Yet the rabbits in those cages have never been run over by a lawn mower and their fed and watered and don't live in fear of hawks foxes or other predators.

First off, dying in the wild to a natural predator is a million times better than the short-lifelong torture they go through in those cages, literally rotting.
They would find loving homes for as many of them as they could, obviously.
You clearly have never even seen rabbits in the wild, they do quite well and need little more than grass and seedlings to thrive and survive.

Yeah like the nest of 16 rabbit babies my neighbor ran over with his lawn mower last week they were doing quite well. Yet the rabbits in those cages have never been run over by a lawn mower and their fed and watered and don't live in fear of hawks foxes or other predators.

Was the evidence of cruelty (specifically the terrible untreated condition of the rabbits ears) passed to the RSPCA? I assume it could form the basis for prosecution and possible closure of the farm?
