Seriously what advantage would the CIUS have over simply purchasing a Windows Tablet in the future and running Cisco's collaboration suite on it? It would be suicide for Cisco not to support Windows on ARM in the future. Cisco is wasting time and money on this product. At a price near $1000 list its excessively expensive with zero advantage since only 5% of any organization could leverage it. They are better off making money on licensing software to run on 3rd party tablets.
Cisco is not good at end-point/front-end. They're strength is making sturdy back-end hardware that supports your laptop/Ipod/Iphone's internet connection.
I think it will get the award for the most buzzwords integrated into a product launch. I'm sure this VP of Marketing had her whole team collaborate on the script for this video. I doubt they used the tablet to do it though.
I think this new tablet developed by cisco is nothing but trash. This thing will never be able to even meet the ipad's domain. I wouldn't buy this even if they gave me a billion dollars.
@CstandsforAwesome so damn right, although Steve Jobs isn't able to solve the IPhone 4's antenna problem XD But as a marketing boy he kicks ass, K.O. the competition at selling anything, even a wet sock, maybe called the iSock.
Wow...could she be a robot? I think so. MECHANICAL EMOTION - BEEP BEEP - VOICE SYNTHESIZER READING WORDS - BEEP BEEP. The unit sounds great, but looks HORRIBLE. Proves that CIOs have no knowledge of UI design. Yeah, Apple's just a "feature" company right????
Webex for iPad is a great combo. iPad is also flexible for home use. The best of "Work/Life" Balance.

Cisco seems to be completely shit at marketting. All their ads look really dry and uninspired.

@Sh0nin - No kidding! Cisco needs to fire their entire marketing team.

i think cisco wants to sell this product to IT business buddies only....
they do not generally compete head on with the other big guys in the retail sector...
i dont know why....but according to them Customers=Guys from other companies
their product may be as good as any other...but they definitely take the fun out of it!!!
