Make practice fun while learning. Make it a thing that kids want to go do their personal best and most of all be responsible to teach great work ethics in kids. The drills you can learn but they are looking up to YOU for leadership. Have fun but it is not a joke safety is critical and sportsmenship is critical to gaining that respect a coach sure wants. It is not about fame, it is about respect.

I don't like the idea of a 59 min practice at all. I run a fun baseball practice but to cover EVERYTHING we need 2 hours. As for batting practice, we have a catcher catching it, we have either 2 soft toss stations or a hitaway station and a soft toss station, then we have our infield making plays on balls, so we are getting many things accomplished at once. Nobody is bored. Then you have to cover other things also, such as game situations, baserunning, etc. You can't cover everything in 59M
