It is very difficult to stalk enemies with just an air soft sniper and guillie suit. believe it or not real snipers can shoot up to 3/4 of a mile away without being seen. We can only shoot a couple hundred feet away and not be seen assuming you have an excellent spotter and you are very very patient. Noise is also easier to hear when your closer.

@japeter777 yes while that may be true but in a competition two swnipers got within 20 yards of a target without being seen and even airsoft pistols can reach that far so if a pistol can reach that far im pretty sure an airsoft sniper rifle can so real snipers can get alot closer than u think

True he is moving not a swift as possible but, In combat especaly in a ghillie suit it gets hot unless you buy the new generation ones for $120 or are creative enought to make your own jumpsuit style ghillie. But for one made form net fabric and a bdu its acceptional. Good job fellow airsofter

hahaha i second that another word of advice get on you're gut ffs snipers all ways move as if there is a sniper looking for them. eg on belly moving one inch if that every 15 to 60 seconds.

and also just throwing sticks and other natural folage on your suit is a wasate of time unless you can secure it to your suit

lol in that kind of wood its basically like trying to stay dry in a pool. Snipers usually try to avoid that kind of treeline, especially since it doesn't offer much cover and ghillie doesn't blend in with it. Having a moving bush that makes crackling noises is never good :P

If you want one with 400 fps, get the UTG M324. If you want higher, go with any brand L96 or MK96 ( the same gun)

try using the snipers low crawl when your that close to the target and you should survey your surroundings about every 30-45 seconds to be effective

you can use whatever is on the ground!!!!! the leaves will stay as lon as you dont get up and walk. and one thing that is taught in sniper school is to keep veg on the ghillie is to use cable ties with elastics and then you just put the veg in the elastic and wrap it a couple of times and bang the veg sticks around..

You spend way to much time in the open lightened terrain standing up, that terrain isn't very suitable for a ghillie-suit either, at least not from what I could see in this video.( No I don't play airsoft-games but I've done that crap way more times than I ever wanted...) Probably a nice enough video for people who want to learn some basics and I'm sure it's quite different in airsoft compared to the real world. Good informational video.

HuDeanee, I would recommend you make your own so you can make it fit your environment. I'm planning on making my own ghillie suit pretty soon and I'm actually leaning towards buying a ghillie kit with synthetic fiber instead of jute/burlap. That way I don't have to worry about it rotting. The only reason you should buy a premade ghillie suit is if you don't have the time to make one.

Also not taking it out on ya you did a awsome job. but i did Marksman training for a year.. and i tell ya your walking isnt to good. sure it would get the job done in that weather but in a dead wind or even a second of dead wind that crunching under your feet will blow your cover like fireworks.. the goal is to try put the least amount of wieght into your steps and place your feet on Green leaves and avoid moving on dead growth. but 5/5 mate keep up the good work

for airsoft...u need to wear glasses, in order to protect the eyes. Mesh goggles are bad, for the fact that bbs are known to shatter on impact of the mesh, and spray pieces of bbs into the eyes.
