Katsidis doing his '300' thing looks calm on his approach to the ring as opposed to Mitchell. This was HAYE vs MACCARINELLI all over again. An overhyped, padded record, protected Warren fighter exposed at elite level. HAYE was laughing all the way to the bank when their fight was announced and so was KATSIDIS. This was his easiest fight in 4 years and Mick knew it. I know Mick and his team really thought Warren would take Kevin a different path. MITCHELL deserves heaps of credit. At the weigh in I think the realisation hit him - "I'm gone".

Katsidis doing his '300' thing looks calm on his approach to the ring as opposed to Mitchell. I suppose the onus was on Mitchell to get the crowd going, maybe Katsidis toned his bravado down amidst the hostility. The whole West Ham thing swelled ticket sales, but even if Mitchell had won, the point is that Mitchell is a fighter, and football played too much of a part in this event. Inspiration is great, but it has to be the right kind of inspiration otherwise it can detract from 100% focus.
