Why did you decided to write Jim out of the show and then have him take over someone elses body and have it so the guy doesn't know her yet he said there is something familar about you? Part of the time in last weeks episode part of the time he was seen as this other guy and at other times it was Jim! Jim has always been with the show and Jim and Malinda are good for each other, he has always supported her with her helping others cross over.

They decided it, because when producers first killed him off the was an out cry of "passion for Malinda and Jim's relationship" from fans, so they brought him back. I would say there's an impact on ratings too more then likely.

Melinda sees Jim's spirit within the body whom he chose to slip into and we, like the others on the show, see the other guy. The spirit of the man had moved on or he's in the astral plane and now Jim is taking over the body. It still, in my opinion, makes a great story.

I'm not liking the story with Jim's spirit transmigrating into another person's body/vessel. I'm finding it unbelievable so far. Isn't this what the Raelian's believe? In occult thinking a person can be reincarnated, but that is into a new person when born. A spirit can possess a flesh and blood mortal, but not a deceased person. Certain things would prevent that from occurring. The body/vessel would break down, which would make this temporary for Jim.

In voodoo there is the believe of zombies-a supposedly deceased person walking about-questionable if in reality possessed. I'm not familiar of where this concept can occur. There is no support for it in Christian thinking/the Bible-of course. I'm in reality not happy about what happened to Jim. I guess you can just make stuff up for a good story-where's Prof. Paine to give some kind of an explanation of what's going on? I look forward to seeing where this story goes.

I just remembered that there was a movie with Warren Beatty called "Heaven Can Wait". Cool movie too. It had a similiar storyline to this, but there was a definite higher power in charge. Joe Pendleton didn't make the decisions. I look forward to see how this story develops like I said before.

A man dies because his body has been badly damaged in an accident. Jim decides that he's going to claim that body for himself, and jumps in. When he does he practically get's off from the gurney. How can that badly damaged body work for him and not it's original owner? Oh and now that he's got a body again that mean that he can now be with Malinda. Why did they do this? I hope one of them is dreaming. I cried last night on how Jim is actually dead. But he went in another body, so yea

Hi Osmondheaven. Melinda would be involved - hopefully not physically-with another person's body/vessel. Jim is a spirit. In theory this is only a temp thing I think. They had a story not long ago about a guy that died, and tried to keep his/a body going. It didn't work.
