  • "...and guess what, kids need the fluoride that comes from tap water." Will someone please show us ANY proof of this. FLUORIDE is a poison. it is in the tap water out of convenience and (most of all) GREED ($). Fluoride is a bi product of Fertilizer & aluminum industry- it would cost them too much 2 treat it, so they make the deal with the Gov. official$. "Here Johnson, tell her to read this 'study' I typed that says fluoride & tap h2o good -bottled is bad". sum bottled sucks, but some great

  • convenience, you can freeze the bottles in your chest freezer and when you loose your power your freezer will stay frozen for quite some time. exelent ice water bottle on a dry hot day . I personaly know of some renewable resource water springs that poland spring water uses and the are helping to suport maine's economy even when times are tuff ... what kinda bottles contain sport drinks? Why is water being tageted so badly?..oh and fryburge maine is full of yuppies...

  • does Katie drink bottled water?? If not than she should keep her pretty MILF mouth shut. We don't need no stinkin designer water bottles, we like plastic.

  • maybe i don't want to drink the faucet water, genius!!

  • Bilderberger Katie, stop saying flouride is good, it's rat poison.

  • @SirSafer they dont. its been fixed for a while now homie.

  • It is best to buy fluoride-free bottled water in safe plastic or glass which is the proper PH balance. How are college students, young adults, or business travelers supposed to get their water when a installing a system just isnt reasonable?

  • Homeowners can install a reverse osmosis system starting at about $800 and up. It would take an investment of at least $800 to get a filter good enough to simply filter out most of the fluoride. It isnt convenient for a temporary renters to install a system though. You have to buy bottled water if you dont get a reverse osmosis or other similar system installed.

  • @Karinda7 Well put. THank you.

  • I love SIGG bottles! That was the aluminium bottles she talked about!

  • umm children need flouride in there water? eat your cancer causing chemicals kids its good for your teeth! alot of bottled water contains flouride anyway, it says so right on the lable. its most likley only filtered tap water your buying anyway

  • all of the soda, fruit juice, or for that matter anything with water in it is from the local manfacturers municipal water supply. 11 billion in sales of bottled water? you're an idiot if you by bottled water. well, not really an idiot, just a sucker.

  • Anybody ever hear of a FRIGGIN CANTEEN!!! That's what we used to use in the good ole days...

  • Pop, and fruit juice companies use plastic bottles as well why no complaints?

  • FUCK WATER! jk jk

  • I never buy bottled water but I do buy coca cola. Every single bottle I drink I recycle.

  • I used to take bottled water with me on vacations, but have stopped. I now have aluminum water carriers (bottles) to take water with me. They last a lot longer and are a lot more durable. You can get them at Wal+Mart!

  • PROPAGANDA

  • I'm not a child and I don't need flouride in my water...so I bought a 3 stage undersink filter and I Love my tap water..I'm an ameteur cook and can taste the difference in cooking and coffee ect the filter has made (Whirlpool at Lowes)

  • I doubt that I would really make a difference when thousands of people are doing the same thing. America is falling apart all ready doing something now is to late the damage is done. I'am only here 100 years if that why worry about it.

  • Yikes, that's depressing. I feel somewhat helpless too, but I do my best anyway. I've influenced a handful of people around me, and when it comes up in conversation I can make people question their ways a little bit. Yeah, if everyone thinks like you we're doomed, but I think the future of possibly the only civilization in the galaxy is worth a little effort.

  • I don't think God would make a planet that people could not fit on. Yes people can do things better in terms for the envirnoment. God does say we are in charge of what goes on around here but I'am not going to risk my health over drinking tap water.

  • Alot of elements including floride was not found in bottled water. That was no excuse the plain truth. I'am not drinking water that kills fish. If they tamper with bottled water then I'am drinking natural fruit juice, and no longer water better be safe than sorry.

  • there is no excuse for drinking bottled water, not price, safety, or convenience...its mindless consumerism at it worst

  • Yeah the tap water here stinks bad to, and also killed my daughters pet fish. When we bought new fish, and put them in bottled water they live alot longer we still have them. Bottom line if it kills fish that is not water I want to be drinking.

  • thats no excuse dude! Buy a filter, and a metal container, and get your head out the sand, show a little patriotism, and protect America's resources

  • For the amount your spending producing bottles people might as well have two separate garbages on their driveways one for regular garbage, and one for recycled items that get picked up separately. Can't people think of these easier methods? You can't tell me all alluminum pop cans are being recycled while bottle water is not. So it is not just bottled water. Do they still give out money for items being recycled? I bet the homeless would be rich by now if they recycled all those bottles.

  • I think the reason why bottles are not recycled is because we don't have convienient recycling options. I don't have the time, and space in my car with three kids to go to a recycling station. It would help in apartment, condo, and townhome complexes to have a bin next to garbages for recycling. Reguardless wether their is a tax on it, or not I'am not drinking tap water with prescription drugs, and floride. Hitler also poisoned his population with the water supply.

  • It is true that bottles are a huge burden on environment. However, floride in tap water is not a reason to drink it. I have fluorosis due to drinking water containing excessive amounts of fluoride when I was a child. Also, tap water contains high amounts of chlorine which was shown to cause miscarriages in a Canadian study.

  • the water coming out of my tap is cloudy and smells of eggs. sometimes it is brown. I've tried to drink it... do you think I can sell it.

  • True that! friggin bottled water >.<
