Yes, third party, but not Constitution Party. I'm actually a member of the Progressive Green Party of Maine. Because, they believe in liberty and justice for all, the end of the war in Iraq, support Roe v. Wade, and support same-sex marriage. Y'know...all the stuff that prevents this country from becoming a theocracy, and promotes equality.
shame we never met back in 08, i supported baldwin and Paul aswell. did so many public speeches, informing people on so much.. and B.H.O's real name is actually Barry Soetoro.. born in kenya.. Viva La Revolution!
Kenyans are trying to take over the world. First marathons, now the presidency. And did you know that at this very moment they're building gigantic underground squid robots equipped with ray guns that turn people into lint? I shit you not. There's a documentary about the whole thing, starring Tom Cruise and Dakota Fanning as would-be victims of the Kenyans. I admit there's some slight overacting, but it's still a must-see. 4 stars.
A bit, but on a side not though, i do agree with your torture video. I don't see how we could prosecute the troops who made the prisoners at Guantanamo pose together, and then not prosecute anyone who was involved in water boarding.
I voted for Chuck Baldwin. Heard about him from Ron Paul's endorsement and found that I agreed with his positions much more than the republicans or democrats. I don't regret voting for him one bit in hindsight. Neither Obama nor Mccain have acceptable positions.
I voted for Chuck Baldwin myself. But being a third party-voter does not mean we're any more informed than anyone else. Personally, I think every presidential candidate (including the messiah Ron Paul) is full of shit to a large extent.
I voted for Baldwin not because I agree with him on every issue, but because this country needs some insane shock therapy and he would have most definitely brought it.
Maybe by the 2010 election people will begin to see the folly of remaining with the Repuglicraps. And place some Constitution party candidates in office.????
I voted for Chuck Baldwin too! And I live in PA where he was only a write-in candidate! Any time a person truly votes according to his/her ideals and principles that vote is never wasted or thrown away!
Please, you throw away your vote every time you vote for the 2 party system who are controlled by the 2 party system and corporate lobby groups.
Ralph Nader was on enough state ballots to WIN, so ask me why Obama and McCain both refused to debate Nader?
I dont support Chuck Baldwin,Bob Barr, or cynthia mckinney...but I do beleive that since they are official candidates of there part and on enough state ballots they should be in the debates.
Bullshit Hughie, I voted for Obama and he won, I certainly did not "throw my vote away". And Obama was the best candidate in the running, including Nader and all the other pissants with almost zero popular support but having the potential to throw another election to the bad guys. You have to work within the framework of REALITY whether you like it or not, or else you live in a fantasy world where you think your one little obstinate vote for a loser is somehow going to change the system.
Best candidate,,,,hahaha. He voted for the Patriot Act..AGAIN!And he voted for FISA, fund the war,and the bail out of the wall street CEO's. I dont call that the best choice.Third party candidates are BLOCKED by your "best choice" and the republicans because they talk about real issues, not bull crap.
You will see...Obama will not do much... HE IS PART OF THE SYSETM. And Nader and other candidates could have support if the pussy democrats and republicans would debate them and stop using the committee on presidential debates "which they both control" to block them. Its such a joke, Why do you people want to keep the same 2 party duopoly, it makes me sick!?
Democrats and Republicans are the SAME THING! REPUBLICRATS! I can sleep at night knowing I VOTED FOR THE RIGHT PERSON! NADER 2012!
Did your vote make any difference? If you had voted 3rd party instead of Obama would he have still won? If the answer is "yes obama would have won if I voted for somebody else instead" then your vote made NO difference.
The trouble with your logic is that it only makes sense after the fact.
In reality I was sufficiently motivated to know my vote MIGHT make a difference. You voted for somebody you KNEW COULDN'T WIN and you think you can tell somebody else how they should vote? LOLOLOL
The more people vote for third parties the more credibility they get and eventually there will be enough votes to break the stranglehold and get a viable third party candidate on the debates. BUT, America heard Ron Paul make sense about the economy, the war and foreign policy and he was pretty much ignored by the press. Makes me wonder if the press is somewhat controlled by the duoparty process.
Remember these words. Obama will make very little change in status quo.
You should look up the previous CIA head who said all the major media in this country are controlled by the CIA.
But you are literally throwing your vote away when you vote for some third-party pissant like Nader or Baldwin. They are just fringe characters with little appeal. Ron Paul on the other hand would have made a great candidate but Repugs always want a warmonger, so he had little chance from the start.
Remember these words: Obama is going to change the world.
I also voted for Baldwin, at least I can say I TRIED to work "within the system" first. Oh well, as bad as things will get with Obama maybe Ron Paul or Chuck Baldwin will have a shot in the 2009 election we will be forced to have!?!
I was barely just starting to learn all of what you know and what i know now when i first voted. I voted Bush cause i was a new CHristian and thought I was doing the right thing. I knew the democratic party was definately wrong.
I did vote Baldwin for President and didnt vote at all for any office a Constitution Party member or Libertarian wasnt running for.
To paraphrase a former President, the major political parties will never be the answer to our nations problems,,,they are the problem.
Now that the election is over, the voters must stop calling each other names, and come to the realization that the real battle for the future of our nation is us, the unified voting public who demands reform, against the corrupt, self-serving, special interest owned, and incompetent two major political parties who have been trading power back and forth. Enough.
Congratulations on having principles and sticking by them at only 18 years of age! The youth vote that is being praised this year for coming out and voting for Obama has done absolutely nothing to show that they have any principles guiding their support, nor any real understanding of the issues at stake. I am despaired to think that another generation will grow up completely oblivious to the Constitution because they are too focused on their own sense of entitlement. Way to go young one!
Living in Arizona, I had to write in Chuck Baldwin to cast my vote for him. But I didn't get an e-mail until after the polls were closed, so I suspect many people wrote in Ron Paul instead.
obama may have won my state, but he didn't win my vote. I voted for Chuck Baldwin because Ron Paul endorses him. lets see whats gonna happen in the next few years... *hides*
I voted Constitution Party and couldn't be happier. It was the first time I ever voted Third Party and also the first time I ever felt positive and comfortable with my vote. Saying no to the Democratic and Republican machine was very satisfying and I hope we have more people doing the same in the near future.
I'm glad I voted for Baldwin today. My conscience feels great knowing I voted for someone I agree with on everything, rather than a very evil lesser of two evils. I was planning on writing in Ron Paul for a long time, but since Ron Paul endorsed Baldwin, that's how I voted.
We don't need a 3rd party; we just need a SECOND party, instead of the mass-media-controlled, completely phony "opposition" charade we've had for the last several decades. McCain & Obama (who BOTH voted for the bailout swindle) are 1000 times closer to each other than either one is to a Baldwin or a Ron Paul (or to any even halfway honest man). BTW, a month ago, Baldwin predicted Obama's landslide, which you can find on his website entitled "Don't waste your vote."
I voted for baldwin as well. I'm happy with my vote, but now we're in the socialist states. I won't call this America, it has lost, its right to be called that.
Well said (as always) in favor of voting one's conscience. I voted for Baldwin 1st + foremost b/c he is the only sincerely pro-life candidate. I think I persuaded a few others to do the same b/c of that one issue. As a priest, many in my congregation vote for almost exclusively on the pro-life issue but it is still hard to persuade them to go outside 2 party system. I hope that one day I will be able to vote for you as Pres candidate for the Constitution party!
I voted for Chuck Baldwin/David Castle for US President today! Is it a wasted vote? Absolutely NOT! Why? Because I voted for what I believe in, not what some media outlet suggested I should believe in. If people want REAL change, they need to educate themselves and really look at the candidates and their parties platforms. Don't just vote for someone because they're good-looking, charismatic, they dance well on Ellen, etc. This (I'm afraid) is what we now use as a nation to decides votes.
I voted for Chuck Baldwin today. I pray in 4 years we'll be at a point where Americans will stop looking at the election as sort of a horse race where they want to place their vote on the person the media says is slated to win. Wake up America. We need the Constitution Party. It's time for REAL change.
I voted for Chuck Baldwin and Darrell Castle today. I just saw on MSN that Obama won the electorial vote. A lot of hicks were at the polls during the day and night. I think it is rigged.
I live in California's 52nd Congressional Districe - Congressman Duncan Hunter is my representative - I supported Hunter in the primary but changed to the Constitution Party when McCain won the nomination - I voted for Chuck Baldwin today.
Bravo for the courage of this young lady to speak the TRUTH! For those who are convinced that there is no ABSOLUTES, such as God and the Bible, are you absolutely sure of this? Then you are a hypocrite, for you are declaring an ABSOLUTE, and you are making yourself to be a god who decides what is right and wrong. Chuck Baldwin represents a hope for the future of America and of our children. VOTE for what this country was founded on, not for the choice between a Hitler and a Mussolini. I did!
it all depends on how you view it. This again is a personal view and NOT a fact. Some people believe that a being doesn't have a "soul" until it has had its 1st breath of air. Most abortions are done before a "baby" had even developed. This is a personal choice. While I do not support abortion for myself I do support an individual's right to believe and choose as they please. I do believe it is a choice made towards a body and a POSSIBLE life but you are NOT killing a baby (as you put it)
Vote your conscience, that's good. However, I hope you and all others that think this way will be satisfied with the consequences of diverting votes from someone who has a chance of beating the most liberal candidate to ever get this close to the presidency. We should start campaigning now for the next election for a third party candidate that has a chance to win. One day before or even 6 months before is too late and a waste of time.
I have an idea... Lets vote for OBAMA or McCain!!! Let us allow ALL gay people to become a MATRIMONY and get married in a CHURCH!!! Let us allow for ABORTION!!! Let us allow for everything else that is a TOTAL CONTRADICTION to Christian principles and I guarantee you that we will all be going to heaven one day. May God bless this country and its people... THEY NEED IT BAD!!! I am closing participation in this topic with this comment as I have learned there is NO CHANCE for this country.
1st of all this is SUPPOSE to be a free country! NOT a "christian" country. YES, I am Christian HOWEVER, I believe in the right to freedom of choice & religion. Everything you just listed is a PERSONAL choice & if you start making your personal choice a Law you are spitting in the faces of every person that died to make this a so-called "free" country. Practice whatever belief you want but for Christ sake quit pushing it on others & taking away other's freedom to choose. May God bless you too!!
I would have loved to vote for Ron Paul but he dropped the race and you can only write in those who are qualified. Ron Paul was not a write in here in Texas and he is not apart of the presidential race anymore. I voted Chuck Baldwin but Yes, Ron Paul is my hero!
No way! there are more than two candidates? B-b-but the media says....There is the first mistake, people trust their media. We need to vote out the 2 parties that have destroyed this country.
I went in and voted for Chuck. I would not have been able to look in the mirror after voting for either of Corporate stooges pushed upon us by the media.
Great Vid. I think experience is overrated. If a candidate supports what I support then he doesn't need to have been in congress or anything like that for any amount of time. I support the U.S. Constitution. So I voted my conscience. I voted Baldwin/Castle.
//Criminal: "I have a right to kill you and take your stuff!"
"Why!? What about my life? My property?"
Criminal: "Don't force your views on me, fascist!" (shoots)//
Ridiculous. Firstly, no person ought to have a *natural* right to kill other persons. Secondly, this is an example of two persons equipped with mentality, which is not the case in the relationship between a woman and her fetus. Murder is an act of killing personhood. A fetus is other than a person. Abortion isn't murder.
//when a zygote is formed, it has the fulness of a human DNA code, just like you and I do, from the point of conception. That sounds pretty human to me.//
We each have a human body. But we also have something else that fetus don't have. Something of more value and dignity. There is no real equation between the fetus' humanhood and the mother's personhood.
I would say a woman has the right to remove the parasite from her womb until it developes a brain or if she is in danger. It's not a question of it is human, of corse it is. It is a question of basic rights and liberties. Being able to do what you want with your body falls into that. It's a tricky topic but the pros of abortion being legal outweigh the cons. I subscribed to you, maybee I'll do a video response sometime.
I will not be voting Chuck Baldwin. I am a radical libertarian, anarcho-capitalist, and an anti-federalist. I am more right wing than you: Christianity, family, gay marriage, feminism (individualist femininist leaning anti feminist), anti federalist and I'm anti war. Serving God, marriage, loving my wife, and having many kids interest me more than democracy.
Do you realize this election is a sick game run by the rich elite who own control what we see and hear on TV. It's like our presidents are ordained not of God but of the corporate media giants of the world. If they want Obama to win they just flood the TV with more Obama. Its wrong to withhold truth when there are 5 others on the ballot who have challenged to debate them..but they would not. I trust God will shrink this inflated arrogant government down to size where all candidates have a say.
You're right, Barr is a pro-life libertarian. My concern remains when looking at the Constitution Party vs. (most) libertarians.
I just read Rothbards arguement recently granting that an embryo IS a human, abortion should still be legal because no human being has a right to live as a parasite on another. That is pretty hard core! I think I agree though.
Women have the right to remove a unwanted brainless mass of cells from their body, partial birth abortion a different topic. I would say only if the mothers life is at risk.
Is the fracture of Ron Paul supporters between Barr and Baldwin based on Abortion?
So many pro-choice people sucked it up to support Ron Paul, but I think it is now clear that the pro-lifers of the movement will never support a pro-choice candidate for the good of the cause. This is going to be a problem going forward.
Great video as always. I voted for Chuck Baldwin last Friday, and had to write him in because there were only three choices at my polling place.(McCain, Obama, and Barr) I also heard a few people asking about writing in their vote, so I'm interested to see the results for 3rd party candidates this year. Hopefully they'll get some attention...even though it's very unlikely.
Thanks Rebekah for another great vid! I will be voting CHUCK BALDWIN myself down here in Florida. It absolutely amazes me how DUMB people really are... I still dont get it tho... This IS America and it is NOT about TWO parties. It is about THE PEOPLE!!! We the people MUST insist that ALL the candidates must be given FAIR and EQUAL opportunity to express their views, beliefs, and principles in future debates. It is NOT about what CNN or FOX says... Its about OUR choice as THE PEOPLE of the USA.
I'm voting for 3rd party Chuck Baldwin, Constitution party. He is the only one who is against the NEW WORLD ORDER..who will close our boarders, against the ID chips, NAFTA, United Nations, FEDERAL RESERVE, abortion, Income Taxes. Chuck will bring our troops home. He will uphold the constitution & will honor God as president of United states
"Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost." John Quincy Adams
I like Chuck, he's a very likable guy. I wish the CPs platform was more secular, but I trust Chuck to do the right thing. I understand most RonPaulers are concentrating around Chuck, so I decided I am going to flow with that. I would like to see Chuck score well!
get yourself a dictionary and look up the word fascist ;) we have fascism and communism in this country currently, Mr. Baldwin and his party are trying to change that, ya dig?
no I don't dig. The guy supports a federal ammendment to the constitution that bans gay marriage. He is against the woman's right to choose, he is a christian fundamentalist preacher. He is socially fascist. Go jerk off to Alex Jones and Ron Paul.
OMG Napal... You are sick man! Certainly not what I expected from someone who lives in a Christian country. If you believe in GOD, then you MUST KNOW that marriage is between a man and a woman AND you must know that abortion is not a good thing. Some comments really dissapoint me I tell you that... Chuck is a christian and therefore he will DEFEND his christian beliefs like you should as well. Oh well anyways... who I'm I to say anything... GOD will be coming and he will deliver justice!
Not a fan of Jones, nice try though... you defeated yourself there, bud. Send me a mail if you'd like... rather not clog this vid up any further, since we are now off topic.
Nader and Baldwin are not fascists. I recommend looking at Ralph's views are on the "Global Warming" issue. He follows that CO2 is the cause. That is issue that swayed me to steer away from Nader and I am voting for Chuck Baldwin. Cause CO2 is good for plants, plants are good for the Earth and for Humans. Toxins like Mercury, which Bush vetoed against removing Mercury out of vaccines.. is TOXIC! Coal we burn contains Mercury! The FED blocked using Coal that doesn't contain Mercury! Baldwin08
Forget about Napal... There is NOT a chance of winning an argument!!! Just another brainwashed non-christian. LET US KILL ALL THE BABIES OK... Maybe if your mom would have thought that way you wouldnt be here today pal. Topic closed for me because I am so OVER THIS BULL CRAP!!!!!!
Maybe if your church would have taught you the bible correctly you would have learned that is is meant to be a personal tool for self guidance NOT a weapon to judge others. If you think making personal choice into a law belongs in a free country you don't deserve to live here! We have to right to believe in whatever we want... or nothing at all is we so CHOOSE!! YOU, however, DO NOT have the right to force your personal decisions on others! Get a clue or live somewhere else!
I thought you were kidding but it looks like you actually believe that nonesense. "brainwashed non-christian" that's rich."LET US KILL ALL THE BABIES" yea that is exactly what I said. You are obviously a fundamentalist extreemist, with a possible mental illness. " A christian nation" yea especially since most of the founding fathers were deists and unitarians. Sorry but God is dead and no fundamentalist preacher sitting in the oval office will change that.
You are absolutely incorrect. No where in the Constitution Party platform, or has Chuck Baldwin said anything but support for freedom of religion, and the Constitutional idea of what is incorrectly called the separation of Church and State. The whole point of this was so that there was no Church of the Untied States, that is no nation established sanctioned, tax supported Church. That is what the framers of the Constitution intended and meant. You should educate yourself before making comments.
As you can see Scott... Most people have little to NO idea what the Constitution of the country they live in says. Let me put it this way folks... The Constitution of the USA is similar to the "fine print" you see under most things these days but with ONE HUGE difference... It PROTECTS US from evil governments!!! It is no different than the "10 Commandments"... It is a list of things we MUST follow in order to preserve the beauty of our liberties and the prosperity of our country.
Exactly how is supporting the "Defense of Marriage" act part of the Constitution Party's belief system?
It is very hypocritical to claim to care about the constitution but want to amend it to take rights away from minority groups.
He supports the "defense of marriage" act: /watch?v=HzxWh4yv2Y4
I cannot support someone who doesn't value freedom of religion by trying to legislate morality. That is what I am talking about when I say he doesn't support separation of church and state.
"God" can mean many things to many people and doesn't imply a Christian theocracy. "God" is a generic, non-religious term. Ron Paul endorsed Bob Barr and Ralph Nadar too; apparently you weren't paying attention.
At least you are exerciseing your right to vote. Other than that I can't say much more than you should use some broll to cover up your edits. Voice your choice I think all conservatives should vote for who ever this guy is.
If one still feals they need to vote for the lesser of 2 evils, consider this.
Elections are held state by state. If your state polls heavy for one or the other, that one will win your state. Your vote wont change that. That is throwing your vote away. VOTE 3RD PARTY and show the establishment some numbers that will put a scare into them.
While you make very valid points, having a 3rd party candidate this late in the process is basically wasting your vote to keep out the person you don't want in the most.
There is no way a 3rd party candidate will win this election- Ross Perot was the only one who garnered enough votes to actually seem like a viable candidate at one time or another. If there was a major push for Chuck Baldwin months ago, I'd say go for it- but voting for him now is basically drinking tap water while drowning.
Ross Perot won so many votes because he was so rich, not because of real grassroots effort. The mainstream media will not cover ideas like constitutional government unless they are pressured a lot.
I voted for Chuck Baldwin. I would rather vote for someone I agree with than for the one I hate least, which would be an impossible choice for me.
Again I say- your standing makes sense. However with the current 2 party system that this country has. You are basically wasting your vote. If Nader hadn't run for office in 2000, the election would have gone a different way.
Having another choice is a good idea- however there is no chance that your candidate will win. You can bank on that.
Ross Perot won so many votes because the Republcan/Democrat parties didnt change the rules until after he made such a dent. Thats why third partys will not get the exposure ever again.
You are gorgeous and intelligent; do us all a favor and marry someone of your caliber and be sure to have lots of children and teach them to open their minds!!!!
hell yeah im right there with ya rebekahj its my first time to and since ron paul stepped out im going for baldwin, a mccain and obama are just going to give the same crap over and over
you are dead on about the need for a third party. if all the people voting the lesser of two evils voted for a third party candidate, "we the people" could start getting our country back.
What wouldv'e been the best plan is if ALL but one of the 3rd party candidates, stepped down and supported just 1 other choice. It really would be amazing if everyone who will or has wrote in Ron Paul actually voted for Chuck, and all the Nader voters voted for Chuck and so on...but they are all entitled to run i guess.
just make video's and tell ur opinions, why vote? u just centralize power

RepugTardsEatShit 3 years ago
Best candidate,,,,hahaha. He voted for the Patriot Act..AGAIN!And he voted for FISA, fund the war,and the bail out of the wall street CEO's. I dont call that the best choice.Third party candidates are BLOCKED by your "best choice" and the republicans because they talk about real issues, not bull crap.
HughieGphiladelphia 3 years ago
You will see...Obama will not do much... HE IS PART OF THE SYSETM. And Nader and other candidates could have support if the pussy democrats and republicans would debate them and stop using the committee on presidential debates "which they both control" to block them. Its such a joke, Why do you people want to keep the same 2 party duopoly, it makes me sick!?
Democrats and Republicans are the SAME THING! REPUBLICRATS! I can sleep at night knowing I VOTED FOR THE RIGHT PERSON! NADER 2012!
HughieGphiladelphia 3 years ago 3
Did your vote make any difference? If you had voted 3rd party instead of Obama would he have still won? If the answer is "yes obama would have won if I voted for somebody else instead" then your vote made NO difference.
hiruleshouse 3 years ago
Hindsight is a wonderful thing, no?
The trouble with your logic is that it only makes sense after the fact.
In reality I was sufficiently motivated to know my vote MIGHT make a difference. You voted for somebody you KNEW COULDN'T WIN and you think you can tell somebody else how they should vote? LOLOLOL
RepugTardsEatShit 3 years ago
The more people vote for third parties the more credibility they get and eventually there will be enough votes to break the stranglehold and get a viable third party candidate on the debates. BUT, America heard Ron Paul make sense about the economy, the war and foreign policy and he was pretty much ignored by the press. Makes me wonder if the press is somewhat controlled by the duoparty process.
Remember these words. Obama will make very little change in status quo.
flintstone9812 3 years ago
You should look up the previous CIA head who said all the major media in this country are controlled by the CIA.
But you are literally throwing your vote away when you vote for some third-party pissant like Nader or Baldwin. They are just fringe characters with little appeal. Ron Paul on the other hand would have made a great candidate but Repugs always want a warmonger, so he had little chance from the start.
Remember these words: Obama is going to change the world.

This (I'm afraid) is what we now use as a nation to decides votes.

it all depends on how you view it. I do believe it is a choice made towards a body and a POSSIBLE life but you are NOT killing a baby (as you put it)
nopantzz 3 years ago
Vote your conscience, that's good. However, I hope you and all others that think this way will be satisfied with the consequences of diverting votes from someone who has a chance of beating the most liberal candidate to ever get this close to the presidency. We should start campaigning now for the next election for a third party candidate that has a chance to win. One day before or even 6 months before is too late and a waste of time.

Abortion isn't murder.
mirandansa 3 years ago
//when a zygote is formed, it has the fulness of a human DNA code, just like you and I do, from the point of conception. That sounds pretty human to me.//
We each have a human body. But we also have something else that fetus don't have. Something of more value and dignity. There is no real equation between the fetus' humanhood and the mother's personhood.
mirandansa 3 years ago
//Human beings didn't choose how reproduction occurs; that's a God-ordained process.//
Not even remotely.
//humans are born from inside women; that's a simple biological fact.//
A human as a biological body and a person as a self-aware being are ontologically different. Personhood is post-uterus.
//it seems irrational to consider a baby a 'parasite' as though it abnormaly invaded the woman!//
Because you've failed to distinguish *person* (the mother) from *non-person* (the baby).
mirandansa 3 years ago
I would say a woman has the right to remove the parasite from her womb until it developes a brain or if she is in danger. It's not a question of it is human, of corse it is. It is a question of basic rights and liberties. Being able to do what you want with your body falls into that. It's a tricky topic but the pros of abortion being legal outweigh the cons. I subscribed to you, maybee I'll do a video response sometime.
napalmtube 3 years ago

Bonigee 3 years ago
You're right, Barr is a pro-life libertarian. My concern remains when looking at the Constitution Party vs. (most) libertarians.
I just read Rothbards arguement recently granting that an embryo IS a human, abortion should still be legal because no human being has a right to live as a parasite on another. That is pretty hard core! I think I agree though.
LibertyOrBust 3 years ago
Women have the right to remove a unwanted brainless mass of cells from their body, partial birth abortion a different topic. I would say only if the mothers life is at risk.
napalmtube 3 years ago
Is the fracture of Ron Paul supporters between Barr and Baldwin based on Abortion?
So many pro-choice people sucked it up to support Ron Paul, but I think it is now clear that the pro-lifers of the movement will never support a pro-choice candidate for the good of the cause. This is going to be a problem going forward.

enigmatically 3 years ago
You are absolutely incorrect. No where in the Constitution Party platform, or has Chuck Baldwin said anything but support for freedom of religion, and the Constitutional idea of what is incorrectly called the separation of Church and State. The whole point of this was so that there was no Church of the Untied States, that is no nation established sanctioned, tax supported Church. That is what the framers of the Constitution intended and meant. You should educate yourself before making comments.
scottae316 3 years ago 2

If one still feals they need to vote for the lesser of 2 evils, consider this.
Elections are held state by state. If your state polls heavy for one or the other, that one will win your state. Your vote wont change that. That is throwing your vote away. VOTE 3RD PARTY and show the establishment some numbers that will put a scare into them.

wizkid2000 3 years ago 2
While you make very valid points, having a 3rd party candidate this late in the process is basically wasting your vote to keep out the person you don't want in the most.
There is no way a 3rd party candidate will win this election- Ross Perot was the only one who garnered enough votes to actually seem like a viable candidate at one time or another. If there was a major push for Chuck Baldwin months ago, I'd say go for it- but voting for him now is basically drinking tap water while drowning.
msterscary 3 years ago
Your Right.... We should vote for someone who will hold our heads under water... That will be much better.
wizkid2000 3 years ago 2
Ross Perot won so many votes because he was so rich, not because of real grassroots effort. The mainstream media will not cover ideas like constitutional government unless they are pressured a lot.
I voted for Chuck Baldwin. I would rather vote for someone I agree with than for the one I hate least, which would be an impossible choice for me.
faen10 3 years ago 2
Again I say- your standing makes sense. However with the current 2 party system that this country has. You are basically wasting your vote. If Nader hadn't run for office in 2000, the election would have gone a different way.
Having another choice is a good idea- however there is no chance that your candidate will win. You can bank on that.
msterscary 3 years ago
You're argument makes sense in a battleground state, but nowhere else.
I think Nadar's support had less influence over the 2000 result than certain activities in Florida and possibly elsewhere.

Ross Perot won so many votes because the Republcan/Democrat parties didnt change the rules until after he made such a dent. Thats why third partys will not get the exposure ever again.

you are dead on about the need for a third party. if all the people voting the lesser of two evils voted for a third party candidate, "we the people" could start getting our country back.

Yup!!
Either way it's Chuck Baldwin 08!!
Ron Paul/Jesse Ventura...2009?? lol
