@weiliam1990 its all about how you feel about it. :) i like the wooden shotgun the best because it looks awesome and has a nice sound, but if you want a more powerfull one you need the spas :D
The chrome shotgun is my favorite. Even with it's accuracy and stopping power at range, Everybody ditches it just because of it's ammo count and low spread and goes for one of the others. It's like how in RE4 how you could keep the first shotgun or get the riot gun even though they're almost the same.
It's a weapon that takes skill to use, whereas most L4D players are too lazy for that.
It's a specialist weapon. And if my name aint special ed...
@peepeevagi I agree with you. I love this shotgun. I actually like the lower spread, it allows you to hit more distant targets and things you shoot will be easier to hit (and take more damage). I actually like it more than the Pump Shotgun, even though it has a slower rate of fire and a slower re-load. Like you said, it takes skill.
At least somebody agrees with me. Everybody else will grab a Spaz or semi auto just because of how much lead you can put out. It's why i'm usually the designated marksman. :D
@peepeevagi When I first got the game I would usually get an Assault Rifle variant or Auto Shotty, but often now I stick to the Chrome Shotgun. It is hard to kill a Witch with a Chrome Shotgun though.
@peepeevagi I can usually kill her without her getting me with a few shots from an Auto Shotgun, but I have bad luck when it comes to actual crowning. I need more practice, lol.
If you want to know Damage Per Second, Fire Rate, and pretty much everything you'd ever want to know about L4D2's weapons, visit the wiki. It's got a bangin' great chart of weapons.
The machete and truncheon are best for killing the Tank (out of melees). But the truncheon has a short reach, so hit it from behind.
Why would you do that to a random person and have all other people see how you look pretty stupid and noobish when you say normal gameplay of shooting zombies with a shotgun on Easy or Normal is a pretty good gameplay? There is no way to be good at shooting up close common infected dude...
It was just a compliment even if the video was on easy or normal. Compliments are always in good favor. If he was noobish I would of put "You'll get better!" So that is why I would do that to a random person.
Giving someone a compliment about an easy job of looking at close range zombies and shooting wouldn't make someone feel better... it'll make them feel like you don't know anything. :P
Because, it's weird and not nothing close to nice saying that he's good at the game, the only way to be good at this game is co-operation, but as you see, he's playing with these bots.
i love the chromey...... its always been my favorite. but my friends get pissed when i grab it cause im almost unstopable..... sad times.

It's not that hard to do. Get as close as you can, aim for the head and shoot whilst running away. I once killed 7 or 8 witches on my own that way :D

Not to mention that the Aiming Reticule is smaller (More accurate) and it's a tinsey bit more powerful. The long distance shots are worth it.

Better accuracy.
More damage per pellet.
Sniper shotgun-like.
Pump:
More pellets.
Wide-spread to take out more zombies in a horde.
