The Magnetic Fields version is very sequenced, you know, so it is nice to hear a totally analog rendition.. The words are clear, the melody is clear, and it all works out to be a nice performance, well sung.

Excellent cover of one of my favourite songs.

"Strange powers" was sort of my anthem to get out of a pretty bad depression a year ago or so. Not quite sure why. :P
