  • The Bible contains no error. If one is a Catholic you cannot restrict inerrancy to only certain parts. Leo XIII and other popes have spoken dogmatically on this.

  • The Bible may have some errors from the viewpoints of modern science and history. But these do not bother me because I am aware of the fact that the Bible is not a handbook of science or history. Cardinal Beronius, during the Galileo controversy, said that Scriptures tell us how to go to Heaven and not how the heavens go.
