I have been looking for this song since last week, I had it on a tape and I wiped it off accidently, Furious with myself for being so stupid lol,so thanks for it being on here,is there a way to down load it to my media player?????
thanks for posting these! I was looking for them months ago and had no luck, I realize now I was spelling the name wrong. I lost my cassette a long time ago.
I bought all their 45's when they were released and their greatest hits cd, so I've heard this song like hundreds of times, but at 2:04 when she sings "Wish that I could find a way" I get a chill.
I first heard this in '89 or '90 when I was driving across the country from Alberta to Quebec. All the rest of the tunes on the radio were so humdrum but THIS really stood out! It's one of those songs that make such an impression that you remember what part of Ontario you were driving through when you first heard it. That about says it all. Country music with SOUL.
Thanks to the person who posted this. I love this song and hadn't heard it in over 10 years, because I couldn't remember who sang it. LOVE IT! Thanks, you made my night!
ur quite welcome. i'm not really sure i'm familiar with "Wilder Days" but i'm trying to find it and will post it or let u kno if i do. x and yup, they r indeed a class act.
This is not the kind of band anyone could very easily forget!
This song in particular, along with Wilder days are 2 of the absolute best I have ever heard from any artist! That is really high praise because I have listened to thousands of artists over the past 45 years or so! These guys were (are) as good as any get. Hearing their songs is like breathing a breath of fresh air!
I never forgot about them. They were one of my favorite country groups growing up. arround 1990 or 91 they were gonna play at our county fair, and before the concert the're was gonna be a reception for them from our local radio station, and me and my mom were invited since we knew a few people who worked for it. Unfortunately they had bus trouble and didn't make it into town until after the fair had allready closed. :(
Kathie Baillie and Baillie and the Boys are alive and well and still performing. Kathie, in fact, released a solo cd last year, "Love's Funny That Way" - check out her myspace page.

If I were a Jewish media boss at a greedy big record company, I would sign Baillie & The Boys to a 100 album recording contract.
