  • I have never been to Ireland but I really thhink it's an interesting country. What I'm really fascinated with in is the Irish Gaelic langauge. This language is kind of endangered cause every one speaks English there but I rreally hope the Irish langauge will not die. Dhui dhuit, ta me failte Gaelge briste.

  • How old is our Celtic Moon Goddess? How old is our Celtic Sun God? May the Native Born Again Pagan Celts help protect our Ancestors Ancient Royal History from the Middle Eastern Aramaic Christian Extremists. Sincerely The Druid’s Brehon Laws which has been committed to memory in Gaelic since the Ice Age.

  • great song! what's the name of it?

  • hope I'll visit you this year.love, from Greece

  • You guys don't like the Poles but hold on a sec! You were occupied by the Brits we were occupied by the Russians. The Brits as protestants and tried to assimilate you, the Russian Orthodox tried to assimilate us. We like freedom and vodka, you like freedom and whiskey. We are both Catholic, drunk and opressed! Here's one to Polish-Irish friendhsip. Dhia duit, we might live at different ends of Europe but at the core we re the same! Here's to Polish-Irish friendship

  • @jebus0000000 I'm an Irish guy from the South Side of Chicago and I think the Poles are great. I think Chicago has the largest number of Poles of any city outside of Krakow, which I visited for the first time in May of last year. And of course, we have a lot of Irish. The Irish and Polish in Chicago seem to get along okay Is the problem between the Irish in Ireland and the Poles in Poland?

  • @ChicagoSouthDan I am talking about the backlash against Polish immigrants in Ireland. After the enlargment of the EU there has been a massive wave of immigrants from Poland who have swamped Ireland and many Irish people are not happy about it blaming them for the rise in unenploynment. I have not been to Ireland myself so I have no right to take a stand but you can see a lot of nasty anti Polish comments made by people from Ireland here on youtube.

  • @jebus0000000 Sorry to hear that. Sounds like the situation we have in the United States with illegal immigration from Mexico. One of my aunts was Polish. She married into the family. Also, the lady who provided end-of-life care to my mother was from Morawiany, a small town near Krakow. I stayed with her family when I visited Poland in May, so I feel pretty good about Polish folks.

  • @ChicagoSouthDan Nice to hear you have a positive attitude Dan. Actually the situation is not at all like you guys have with Mexicans cause the Poles are a 100% legal in Ireland. RIght now much of Europe is pretty much like a huge country with little provinces so people from Poland or the Czech Republic or anywherelse for that matter can go to Ireland or France or Sweden without even holding a passport and legaly work there.

  • COLORS.

  • I love the song, could you tell me the title?

  • And what about the lovely Irish weather?,Ha,ha!!! I remember visiting Ireland in July and we had to switch the heat on!!!!! Lovely place, anyway. I have beautiful memories of Ireland and i hope i will be back....one day. kisses from Spain.

  • Yes you are correct , it is a beautiful view that not too many know about.

  • Neat! I didn't know anything about the individual counties and what they're known for.

  • @Poodlepups indepently from which which county we're speaking of, Ireland will be always one country.

  • @Txapelo

That's why I said "county" not "country"

  • The greenest country ever! Simply beautiful. One of those images reminded me of the image that once came up on my mind after listening to Song for Ireland. Really nice!

  • correct me if im wrong, i thought glencar waterfall was in sligo, not leitrim

  • Nope, its in Leitrim. Most folk think its in Sligo (because of the Yeats connection?), but it's just over the border in Leitrim. Cheers

  • Yeah pity about the way she has been sodomised by the incompetent shower of B'srds running it into the gutter with their multiculturalism crap ,Multiculture is no culture, just take a look at the rest of the multicultural s##t h##ls around the world, but we can thank the w****8R'S in brussels for that S**t

  • Its such a brilliant song isnt it!! A real tear jerker.

My family is from Donegal but we moved to Scotland, USA, Canada and England during 19th-20th centuries and everytime I listen to this, i cant help being reminded why we left but also why there are so many reasons to return.

I love my country and I'm pleased that the land, its music, its history and its culture excites you just as much as it excites me.

  • Such an amazing island. Ireland has so much history and heritage and the best thing is a lot of it can still be experienced, like the ruins of monasteries, castles and other sites like Newgrange, Cashel and all those dolmens and crosses and stone figures...
