I just learned this album was part of a Trilogy, Peter Gabriel's second album was part of that, he too had this song on it, but in a simpeler version. The other album was one of Daryl Hall, I understood.
I sure hope she got this vocal done in one take. My throat hurts just hearing it. I dig the Daryl Hall version too but this just incinerates for sheer over-the-top-ness.
To doubt the existance of an allmighty god, who has blessed us all with such greats as Peter Gabriel, Robert Fripp, Brian Eno, Lou Reed, I shall deem foolish. These are proof that God does in fact love all of us, and want us to be happy.
yet another reason I might wanna cry ...I had a signed copy of this when it came out. It got stolen amidst a bad girlfriend choice thing. haha it still sounds great
I've been 20 years no listening to this music. I forgot how excellent it was and still is.
This record is a must have, a synthesis of Fripp's outrageous talent and genius. A patchwork of finest pearls to listen LOUD (your neighbors will thank you) and clear (go buy the CD, or get it as a Christmas gift, and a pair of very good speakers).
WOW !!! EXPOSER !! TONY LAVINE ! BASS ! ?? ENO'S !>>> SOME WHERE ! I HEAR HIM?? CHECK OUT THIRD UNCLE 801 LIVE //OR ENO ! & THE FAT LADY OF LUMUBERG ! ABOUT ???
can anyone post the Fripp Sylvain version?i heard the bass line was sexier and sweatier, me and the wife want to give IT, a go. wink wink nudge nudge.
Right on rockin mebear88 - if you can also hook up ""NY3" and "It's the Way", you would double triple rule. Been thirty years (when it first came out) since I last heard this and thought I'd never hear it again! Memories of some of my earliest stones and howling over Darryl Halls's wicked Halford impersonation in "It's the Way". Arguing with friends that Micheal Narada Walden's drumming kicked fucking circles around Peart. Dude - ya gotta gotta throw those tunes on here - you would be a saint.
i love when the woman screems on this ,,,sends shivers down my spine!!! to coool ,, bought this album when it was released

this album is the " pater noster " of Mr. Fripp. the cheerful and serious insanity of Rbert Fripp. Maestro.
