Everyone has different values but, I feel that these men (especially Darian) have a lot of growing up to do. you can't be a hunting bachelor for the rest of your life. Life is too short to waste it on trivial experiences. I thought they were both in their 20's but when you said 30's I got scared for them.
Thanks for the Male Perspective segments though. Very entertaining. I hope you can balance it with some female perspectives (other than yours - which are obviously very valuable, but would help with diversification of female persp.). I hope you can also touch on more serious topics (the topic here are serious but lighter) such as violence against women (objectification, abuse, assault, etc.) perpetuated by the media, family unites, religious and social communities, the workplace, etc. Great Job!
The perspective on sharing information and being honest in this video was a little naive in my opinion. The dude on the right was a little more on point with it. You can disclose EVERYTHING and "be an open book" about everything on first contact. Like classes and any other things you learn, you have to take information in dosage to avoid overwhelming the person. You can't start talking about your daddy/mommy issues or your mental health on the first date. I do agree with the STOP PLAYING GAMES

I'm not understanding something. These guys want to be single right now (Darien esp.) If you don't want to be single or FWB or whatever don't date those types of guys. These guys are different than the types that will lead you on just so that they can have their cake and eat it too. These guys are being honest the least you can do is be honest with yourself about what you want and if you're not on the same page (or even in the same book) just leave them alone. It's not complicated folks...

It's easy for men to say women should keep themselves maintained. But then you turn around and you see all these beautiful women with men who are not even in the same league....maintenance-wise or looks-wise. LOL There's no comparison. Women put more effort into their looks 9/10 when compared to men, even overtime after kids.
I'm laughing at the responses because of one truth that was demonstrated and stated by both Darien and Will, respectively. So many women are upset by Darien's blunt honesty, and later in the video (@18:15), Will points out that he holds back sometimes because some women don't want his honesty. I'd say that many of the responses (to Darien, for the most part) just proved Will right about that. :) That said, while I can appreciate Darien's honesty, I side-eyed a lot of his comments. :/
@BSMART18 ^5 on that comment. We find it much easier to blame others when we suffer...even if that suffering is because of a decision we made. I'm in my 30's and could care less if a man wants to sleep with women and keep it moving or if they want a long term relationship. I don't have any control over any of that. What I do have control over is what I allow into my life. I can remember a time when I would stress out about this kind of stuff but, my life is too precious to waste time doing that.
Ladies calm down. We should appreciate their honesty, and being so candid about what they want in a relationship. If all guys were this honest you would know whether or not the guy is worth your time, and not halfway through.

Why is Darian getting so much hate? He was being honest. At least he is up front with his thoughts/feelings. I think a major problem among women (not all, but a good amount) is the lack of accountability for OUR own decisions. If you were to meet a man with similar views as Darian and you still DECIDE to be with him, then you have to accept some culpability in any hurt feelings that you may get. This video was great entertainment. We need to keep in mind, however, that these men are two of millions. Are they marriage material? Maybe not but, is every woman wanting to get married right now? NO! Our problem, a lot of the times, is that we try to change a man to accommodate our needs/desires instead of waiting for one who already there. Will and Darian(sp) seem like cool, single, real guys who are not ready to settle. Are they wrong for that? I don't think so.

These were the perspectives of two NY men out of many men you might actually meet. Their views are based on their preferences and experiences, and it has been proven that most females mature quicker than males. That having been said, I dont think this was meant to be a BIBLE for women, Like Taren, Darien, and Will ALL said, people need to love themselves. Thanks Taren for doing these videos. I am 29 years old and I find it quite surprising that these grown men have these views. It just lets me know that by the time men hit my age and they have not been married there is something terribly off about them. I expected teenagers and perhaps men in there early 20s to have these views but not men in their 30s. Why do grown people think a threesome is a good idea? I am so disappointed to hear a young male speak about sex the way Darian does. This is why young women feel so pressured to engage in sexual activty at such a young age. I loved this & agreed mostly with Will, except for when he seemed a little lost about being honest. I appreciate both men's honesty. However, I think it would be beneficial to women to have a mature married man perspective. Although both men seem genuine, I think they are immature in their outlook on relationships. I think they both have the potential to be great husbands in the future. I think they should have a few older, mature married men to mentor them. They both have a lot of love to give. Btw, I'm 41 and have been married 15 years, so I speak from experience.

@BSMART18 ^5 on that comment. We find it much easier to blame others when we suffer...even if that suffering is because of a decision we made. I'm in my 30's and could care less if a man wants to sleep with women and keep it moving or if they want a long term relationship. I don't have any control over any of that. What I do have control over is what I allow into my life. I can remember a time when I would stress out about this kind of stuff but, my life is too precious to waste time doing that.

Why is Darian getting so much hate? He was being honest. At least he is up front with his thoughts/feelings. I think a major problem among women (not all, but a good amount) is the lack of accountability for OUR own decisions. If you were to meet a man with similar views as Darian and you still DECIDE to be with him, then you have to accept some culpability in any hurt feelings that you may get. As women, we don't have to accept a guy's crap. Darian is Darian. Find out what you will tolerate.

This video was great entertainment. We need to keep in mind, however, that these men are two of millions. Are they marriage material? Maybe not but, is every woman wanting to get married right now? NO! Our problem, a lot of the times, is that we try to change a man to accommodate our needs/desires instead of waiting for one who already there. Will and Darian(sp) seem like cool, single, real guys who are not ready to settle. Are they wrong for that? I don't think so.

These were the perspectives of two NY men out of many men you might actually meet. Their views are based on their preferences and experiences, and it has been proven that most females mature quicker than males. That having been said, I dont think this was meant to be a BIBLE for women, Like Taren, Darien, and Will ALL said, people need to love themselves. You have to know yourself and be confident with yourself as clearly these guys seem to be. I'm sure they don't really care what we think.

There's a difference b/w theory and practice, and that diff is LIFE (lol). I'm currently engaged to my best friend. We started off (being friends that is) cuz we were attracted to 1 another but I told him from the start that I had principles and he'd have to *quote Queen Bee* put a ring on it. This lead to a memorable 3 hours long conversation. 2 yrs +several (failed) relationships later (on HIS side- he's laughing...) we're getting married! Darian is attractive until he starts to talk, he's very misogynistic - to both virgin & fat shame is wrong. Saying he won't deal w/ a virgin, shows he's not really about the person. Or to say he just wants his 'needs met' & he'll get it anywhere shows he thinks a woman's worth to him is only through sex. Thanks Taren for doing these videos. I am 29 years old and I find it quite surprising that these grown men have these views. It just lets me know that by the time men hit my age and they have not been married there is something terribly off about them. I expected teenagers and perhaps men in there early 20s to have these views but not men in their 30s. Why do grown people think a threesome is a good idea? Men love confidence...but yet they get upset when a female is confident but not interested. Then may try to bring her down. I am so disappointed to hear a young male speak about sex the way Darian does. This is why young women feel so pressured to engage in sexual activty at such a young age. Guys like Darian make women feel the only way a guy will like them, is if they slep with them; and most of the time that does not lead to a successful relationship because sex was introduced before you even realize if you like that person. I loved this & agreed mostly with Will, except for when he seemed a little lost about being honest. Some time ago, some of my female friends & I were conversing with some guys we had just met & my friend presented a question & then subsequently jumped down the throat of the guy who didn't say what she hoped for. LOL So I can definitely see where Will is coming from, but from my perspective it shows that you are mature/confident when you can put YOUR truth out there for acceptance or rejection

I appreciate both men's honesty. However, I think it would be beneficial to women to have a mature married man perspective. Although both men seem genuine, I think they are immature in their outlook on relationships. I think they both have the potential to be great husbands in the future. I think they should have a few older, mature married men to mentor them. They both have a lot of love to give. Btw, I'm 41 and have been married 15 years, so I speak from experience.
