  • dunno what it is about that guy, hank, but i like him.

  • @popixdyer That's David Hewlett for ya, he gets in your mind and heart. Now go watch Cube, Treed Murray, A Dog's Breakfast, and some Stargate Atlantis!

  • I've never seen this before. It was excellent. Cinema rules.

  • Good film

  • God dammit Ellen. You were the real monster.

  • Why do you all think that there ever really was an alien, this film was made to show how one person can create a drastic situation, the film never hinted to there actually ever being an alien until the end, it would've been a better ending if she got to the parking lot and everybody was just going about there business and there never was an alien, it would add more emphasis that those guys died because of unnecessary drama, they were all humans she did not kill him because she thought he wasn't

  • @Azartusfar yeah, but, that doesn't explain what happened to ben. I too assume the worst when the dude goes out in one piece, then the brutally mushed dude falls back into the elevator through the top bit which got bashed in with superhuman bashing abilities...

  • They reached the top floor, he was crushed, between the ceiling and the elevator, the strength of the elevator was strong, but not as strong as the concrete ceiling, therein when the elevator was still ascending his body got in the way, and in any case one is going to have to give, it's like driving into a brick wall, the car will either be smashed to pieces or the brick wall will crumple, one will have to give, the elevator top wasn't strong enough and gave in first before the ceiling.

  • @Azartusfar but how did he get up there? he was outside the elevator before

  • @Azartusfar why was he above the elevator anyway? how did he get up there? he must have been running away from something, because to begin with he had no intention of re-entering the elevator, so why would he then decide to somehow get into the shaft and then try to get in, and how did he punch the metal hatch hard enough to dent it, and pull it hard enough to lift hank from the ground?

  • Oh shit, actually this was made before cube but Hank is the same guy who played Worth right.

  • wtf is wrong with that woman.

  • This was good, but nothing compared to the film "Devil" with the 5 people stuck in an elevator and one of them is the Devil. That film was surprisingly good =]

  • anxiously waiting for Neuromancer the movie since i liked Splice

  • God, I fucking hate the screaming damsel-in-distress dumb bitch characters so much.

  • woah whts up with ELLEN... was she one of the monster.

onyone seen the newer movie P4?

  • has anyone noticed that the new movie devil is hauntingly similar? (pun intended)

  • So? Were the monsters real?

  • Why did that fucking crazy bitch woman kill that guy? Crazy bitch.

  • what did ben have on his pocket??? a knife?

  • Proof that women are shit in a sticky situation.

  • I never wanna hold anything open for anyone ever again.

  • amazingly well done !

  • uuuuyyy ke miedo no me vuelvo a s ubir a un elevador

  • Creepy :)

  • This movie starts very Lynch-like and it's kind of persistent through out. Cool.

  • hahahhhaaa what a funny movie

  • that was pretty horrific :|

  • wow david hewlett was brilliant and 2 be honest i didn't expect much because its a short film but god that was brilliant x david hewlett 4eva x

  • I think many people are just running from Chuck Norris

  • @phocjame correcti0on, only Chuck Norris can run away from Chuck Norris... and live to tell about it

  • Regardless of where you run, you're always running toward Chuck Norris.

  • This is why Chuck is enemy of mirrors.....

  • Poor Ben.

  • This is such a creepy, random movie... It's weird how they can make a movie this short but made it suspenseful and keep the person thinking what will happen to all the new people in the elevator at the ending. After the credits ding elevator stops on floor but is anyone alive or did Ellen kill them all?

    Dun dun dun!!!

  • I think she just completely snapped.

  • its a good film especially when it comes to create intensity. but i dont get it. or it meant to be like that. live the end to the audience. so is Ellen the alien? who killed Ben then? or there is an Alien just the director choose not to show it and Ellen just being a psycho killer to survive her situation. n if theres a stairs why all those people running never pass trough that level when Ben ask Ellen to come with him use the stairs. at least theres a noise of people running right.

  • I thing Ellen and Ben were aliens, because in the begining the gay talking about the aliens etc.... and next Ben and Ellen rly wann to come out etc. they starting fight etc. next Ben came out of elevator and he making this crazy eyes ;) ( like a rly MAD). Next Ellen killed the "gay"... and go to first floor-> and again "MAD EYES" XP btw- sry for my english ;)

  • Zomg! Ellen is one crazy bitch, still didn't quite get the ending, what are those people supposed to be running from ? the Alien ?

  • yup. the alien. i don't think a crowd that huge will run into a cramped elevator unless something huge frightened them. or maybe they're running from richard simmons. lol.

  • I don't like Ellen that much

  • Ellen is the last person I would want to be stuck in a situation like this with.

  • Holy cow! its so brilliant. I liked a lot that rushed introduction going into an unsure dimension. From a blue monochrome creepy place to a way more comfortable looking elevator and yet..! Actors were amazing!

  • i dont get it either.

  • What's there not to get? It's not some deep meaningful piece. It's just stating that just because you don't see it doesn't mean it's not there. Ellen realized that at the end.

  • it's implied that the people are running from the alien. you don't have to see it to get it.

  • Dude, you're so right. It just shows how ironic it was, because Hank was a good guy and she killed him!

  • easily found on most torrent sites

  • I dont get it.

  • nice ^^

  • it's true: women...you can't LIVE with them

  • david clava el papel lo hace genial!

  • Fab - thanks for posting! :D

  • i have wanted to see this for a while, vincenzos other films are bit strange too. and yes he really does seem to like killing his friend david hewlett.

  • I don't know whether to be afraid, or to laugh. That was....... Interesting.

  • why did ellen kill david, he was only trying to help, stupid freak out person, the short films good, but why does david's character always get maimed or stabbed in Natali's films.

  • Vincenzo sure does enjoy killing off David doesn't he?

  • Thankyou so much for putting this on youtube, I've been trying to find it since I first saw it on tv late one night about 10 years ago. Vincenzo Natali is the best, it's just such a shame that there's so little info about him and what he's up to on the net...

  • Man, Ellen really is the most annoying character ever.

  • That was good, thanks for uploading

  • oh nos! david hewlett's character is dead!! thanks for posting this!
