the only song stza is the boss on harmonica, listen to You cant go home, from the same show, make me want to kill him, this song is badass, i love it more acoustic than regular
I cant stand cops. They make a big deal out of the tiniest things but then are never there when something actually serious takes place. They flock around the city when they should be flocking around the new york city projects to arrest any gorillas that start fighting shooting or raping in the area.
This song reminds me of when the police came to my door and insisted that I let the drunk homeless man into my apartment several times that night and that he couldn't have kicked the broken front door in 4 times. Of course, there was nothing they could do about the situation according to the cop I spoke to. I've only ever met 1 good cop... all the rest I've dealt with have been scumbags.
just last night the LAPD Shot and KILLED my step uncle instead of trying to talk to him. he left behind a wife and two kids and a family still in shock. This song just sums it up for me.
@MrGookTrash hey yeah i know how to play it, do you want me to tab it for you? where are you looking for tabs? because on ultimateguitar is where i got mine i think, and they are correct. (i just came to this vid to play along and it all sounded in tune..)
Soon the mega-corporations will send the pigs to kill everybody who doesn't want to play their game anymore and this song will be that much more applicable.
@scurlcube Oh that happened to me a long time ago with my bass. I was playing a Circle Jerks song and the E string on my bass just snapped! I gotta get new strings anyway, cause I haven't changed them in years.
I do like this song alot but people hating a guy just cuz hes a cop pisses me off. Where i live theres alot of asshole cops but there are a few good ones. Maybe your view on cops depends on where u live? I dunno but this song is awesome
@BullpwhoTV the fact that anyone would want to be a police officer and to be a defender of THIS government and THIS agenda makes them disposable and an unnecessary evil. there's a morning glory song that starts "the truth lies dormant in thier laps and they stay blind to it by choice. the conspiracy of silence."
Met a good cop before, took me to crisis. Great guy. told me how not to get busted and so many loop holes in the system. But he's also a full time marriage counselor and week end cop.
about 3 weeks ago in my area, some cop went around shooting people for no reason, killed one of them, his location was known he was seen many times throughout the week, they still havn't caught the bastard, another reason to hate police and the justice system, especially because around here, comitting a petty crime, half the fucking force shows up immediately
The song is meant to point out the flaws in the police system, so obviously it isn't going to say 'Oh wait, they also protect people too', that would make the whole thing seem pointless. And Leftover Crack probably is singing on experience, which have probably been all bad ones.
The message of this song isn't saying that the idea of authority is wrong, when bad shit happens you should deal with it not someone else because look what happens. A Hispanic man just a couple of months ago was shot and murdered by a cop, granted the cop was chasing him because he did something wrong, but when he was caught the cop would not stop beating him. So the guy stabbed him. What makes that cop so special then someone else beating you? Your telling me if someone was beating you with a
bat or a pipe you would sit there and take it? But no the cop was in the right, for beating the living shit out of this guy and in self defense killing the man. Thats not how a cop should act, and people turn a blind eye to these incidents everyday. Things like this happen everyday but we've grown so lazy and accepting of our society that we let it happen. We have lost what makes us Americans, the thrive for change in a positive movement. Because the government tells you cops are going
through better training you buy into it, and we accept it. Bands like Leftover Crack push us in a positive direction, even though their name and lyrics might not be the social norm, but without people like Stza imagine what the world would be like? Oh and if you have some retaliation stating that I'm a little kid and what not, just remember that when Martin Luther King was fighting for equality, there were groups that wanted him dead, filled with people just like you. And when he died he became

You honestly can`t believe that all cops are hearless ignorant fuckers that abuse their power. Sure, some of them are but assholes will be assholes. It`s just fucked up when assholes get high authority jobs like that but that`s not why I hate cops. Its because they are just mindless puppets run by a corrupt government trying to control its population with unfair rules.
@TheDirtyPoncho Noone is heartless. However, power corrupts and the kind of violence monopoly the police have got has corrupted every single one of them, to some degree. The question isn't "are the police abusing their power", but rather "how much abuse is it worth having them around at all?"
For myself, I've never ever been helped by an officer, I've only had negative experiences with the police and I don't even have a criminal record...
@TheDirtyPoncho I don't think they are heartless or abuse their power. I think that they are people who made the decision to enter into a position of power that is inherently oppressive. They are no better at protecting us than we are, in fact they are probably worse. Look up the List of Weekly Cop Crimes if you want to see how heroic and just they really are.

@dayzedaway I won't even call you names, you did enough damage yourself on this one. I want to state, yet again, and re-re-re-iterate that I can't stand cops, and would gladly do battle at the barricades. I do not know what your political leanings are, but I myself am an anarchist. Unfortunately the idea of trying to garner popular support is dead, and what with small minded, and equally bigoted people like you spouting off on public forums like this about killing cops. WE ARE LOSING.
I have always had a hard time with this subject. My father was a policeman for 23 years. I understand that cops are the front lines of state oppression, but I still think about the fact that I would be devestated if someone killed my father just because he was a cop.
and I don't deny this, but at the same time he is still my father and a good father at that. I couldn't kill anyone regardless of cop or no cop, it's just hard for me to comprehend.
@bandgoesboom Since stza hasn`t killed any cops I think its a hyperbole. The point is that the idea of killing cops shouldn`t be unimaginable when they kill so many innocent people. A few days ago a black kid here in Toronto got beat to death by 7 cops and the paper said the 18 yr old `collapsed of a heart attack.` Lots of pro-cop brainwashing. Whether you intend to do it or not, you should still be able to say `kill cops.`
@bandgoesboom you;'re an idiot living in a delusional world. what about all the innocent people cops have protected? i'm sure it's much more than all the "p0lice bru7a1i7y" that has been going on. such uninformed idiots.
who will you be calling when your fucking friend, family member, girlfriend or boyfriend, husband. ETC. when they are either raped, murdered, robbed, or assaulted? fuck off you stupid fuck. either way you look at it, police are a "necessary evil."
@Dudemag its funny u say protected because the police only show up once something bad has happened...and what about all the innocent ppl cops have killed have u not hear the song operation m.o.v.e
ill be dealing with the shit myself and taking care of my own affairs, the way everyone and this fucking shithole corrupted world needs to figure out how to do.
@zeromaniac96 You think the frail old lady who lives down the street from me's gonna figure out how to "take care" of the mentally unstable murderer who's broken into her home, what about the young girl who can't defend herself against a pedafile. Yes the world is corrupt and full of shithead policeman but people like you are only worsening it with stupid fucken self-centered arguements.
after a week of draining the families money as "assisted help" to catch the fucking pedafile, as soon as the money is all used up, they call it off and say the rehearsed line with the fake solemness "We did all we could."
same goes for the old lady.
face the fucking facts of life. you have worry about you. as fucked up as that is in itself, you are your number one priority.
@Dudemag Actually the police don't report rape. In pretty much all states without spectacular evidence rape cases are treated as non-violent offenses and cops dismiss reports as "groundless" after little or no investigation. It's a widely known problem that even the senate is now acknowledging. Bad shit is going to happen to you, whether some asshole state security guard exists or not. You think an organization monopolizing the right to violence is going to keep violence from happening?
@Dudemag Mussolini's police put away the mafia. Did that make them necessary? China's police keep law and order. Does that make them just? Mexico's police jail drug traffickers. Does that make them necessary?
Just because they protect some people some times does not offset the fact that the police's role in any society is social control, a.k.a. authoritarianism. They aren't necessary and they will not solve the problems that cause violence in society. Freedom and brotherhood, not slavery & fear.
@bandgoesboom now think of all the innocents killed by criminals... Cops can be close minded cunts but seriously you can't honestly think all police are barbaric rapists... Are you like fucken 12?
@hotrain44 I'm only 18. But in my entire life I honestly cannot think of ONE time where I was grateful the police were around. It's your fucking life. Take some fucking action. how about defending yourself rather than calling on the almighty police? THEY CHOSE TO FIGHT THEIR OWN PEOPLE! FUCK EM!
@bandgoesboom Isnt there more important problems? cops have helped my ass on many occasions, but have never beaten the shit out of me for no reason. Stop acting like wannabe anarchist junior high kids...
more important problems? i think racism, sexism, money and cartel corruption, the lack of shame from cops and system, etc, might not be the most important problem for you, but it is one of the more important problems for some of us. I have to assume comments that talk about how cops aint so bad, is because they havent dealt with an experience with an officer who attacked them or gave them an outrageous charge. You're obviously very lucky to never experience police injustice.
@bandgoesboom maybe cops would be a little nicer if anarchist didnt start riots and throw shit at them.. if someone is throwing shit at me of course im gonna beat some ass. stza is pretty cool though
@ArmedPoverty dude, in my opinion, the moment a man puts on the uniform he is no longer a man. He is a PIG. A pig has no sense of personal justice or morality. They are mindless drones that uphold the corrupt demands called "laws" because they have been conditioned and brainwashed to believe that whatever (and i mean WHATEVER) the laws are, is what is just and pure. They deserve to shit thrown at them.
@IamJeff666 That's a bit naive. The majority of people who become cops do it because they want to fight injustice, like you and me. Then there are rotten apples, just like there are rotten apples in the punk scene (homophobia, neonazis).
@iAMnoxon I agree that most people join the police force to save people/fight injustice or wtv you want to call it. But thats not what they end up doing. I believe this is greatly because what they perceive as injustice tends to almost never actually be morally wrong. For example, being chased through backyards by people (cops) with guns and having them throw you to the ground, break your wrists with cuffs, and have them laugh and joke about threatening your life just for smoking weed in a park.
@iAMnoxon think about it. who is really causing an injustice: The peace loving stoners expanding their minds and loving life and each others company. or the "protectors of peace and justice" who attacked us?
I know what Police Brutality is, and I don't egg it on. I complain when it's needed. I've never witnessed it firsthand, so I don't have room to talk, but I feel for those who have. I don't wanna be dragged into this, I'm just giving my 2 cents. Bye.
@ArmedPoverty dude. do you really think police brutality only happens after the police are provoked? Obviously i understand that if you just throw things at cops they will come harass you. My point was that they were fucking people over long before people were rioting against them; and that they deserve to have shit thrown at them because of who they are and what they represent.
@walkwiththelion yeah my dad's a cop. so was my grandpa. now my cousin's in the academy. i've been to dinners with big figures in the lapd, and you should hear what these scumfucks talk and laugh about. it really makes me sick. i see this music as an outlet for the aggression and hatred towards their establishment. i don't believe in killing them (in theory), but maybe they should listen to bill hicks and LOC and see if their outlook on their fake life is changed a bit.. lol
@votejello I understand your point, but not everyone who hears this is going to take it as theoretically as you have, some kid somewhere might take it upon themselves to kill somebody, what if it was your dad? or cousin? Now don't get me wrong, I am an anarchist and have no love for cops whatsoever, I would gladly do battle with them in the streets, my point is that it is irresponsible to make blanket statements that all cops should die.
@walkwiththelion you are right about blanket statements. it is pretty ignorant to do so. but anyways, if my dad or cousin ever got killed at their job i would just see it as the day they got dealt the wrong hand. it's not a safe business that guarantees that you'll make it home. they understand the risks and still want to do it. i would be bummed on a family level of course, but there has to be understanding that they could die any day.
@walkwiththelion Sure. your dad could be a "good" cop but do you really think your dad would stop his fellow cop friends from beating the shit out of some innocent black guy? No, so fuck your dad. Its like you think not all KKK members were bad
@ChAllanz You are a fucking idiot. I can't say as to what my dad would do about a beating, but his best friend on the force was a black officer, which actually makes up most of what the force is in Atlanta. He also is not a member of the Klan so your analogy is ineffective. I'm no cop sympathizer, many of them do deserve to die, but not all of them by any means.
@walkwiththelion Well just to give my two cents on what you're saying. Stza isn't expecting anyone to take these lyrics literally, he's stated that numerous times. He only thinks it's acceptable in self defense. And regarding corrupt cops, i think a large fucking majority of cops are shit bags. But that doesn't mean all of them are, for instance you're father i'm guessing actually did what the police were meant and deployed for. There just aren't enough of those types of cops out there.
if any one could tell me stza real name I will give the $20 canadian so for all u americans that will say it aint nothin the exchange rate is bout the same now so fuck off
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
who stza? i have friends kinda like him, theyre just aggresive about their views, and that can come off half-dickish sometimes. trust me, eating bacon near a vegan is a hard practice
i had a dream last night and 30 or 40 punks and skaters were all down town during some kind of big military cop shindig and i was leading them all in singing this song to them and yelling fuck you we won't fight and then i got arrested. it was a cool dream....except jail sucks in dreams too....
i dunno man, one dead cop live at wasted in feb 11 sounds awesome, but i have to say that is rock the 40 oz. from the same show
its weird cuz sometimes if he is so damn wasted he plays awesome or totally shitty, but that's the way i like it :P you should get that bootleg its pretty cool

Dudemag 1 year ago
@Dudemag its funny u say protected because the police only show up once something bad has happened...and what about all the innocent ppl cops have killed have u not hear the song operation m.o.v.e

@Dudemag
All I keep singing in my head while reading this is "911 is a joke". LOL.
bandgoesboom 1 year ago
@Dudemag i wont be calling anybody.
ill be dealing with the shit myself and taking care of my own affairs, the way everyone and this fucking shithole corrupted world needs to figure out how to do.
so fuck off you stupid fuck.
zeromaniac96 1 year ago
@zeromaniac96 You think the frail old lady who lives down the street from me's gonna figure out how to "take care" of the mentally unstable murderer who's broken into her home, what about the young girl who can't defend herself against a pedafile. Yes the world is corrupt and full of shithead policeman but people like you are only worsening it with stupid fucken self-centered arguements.
hotrain44 1 year ago
@hotrain44 no but guess what
after a week of draining the families money as "assisted help" to catch the fucking pedafile, as soon as the money is all used up, they call it off and say the rehearsed line with the fake solemness "We did all we could."
same goes for the old lady.
face the fucking facts of life. you have worry about you. as fucked up as that is in itself, you are your number one priority.
zeromaniac96 1 year ago
@Dudemag Actually the police don't report rape. In pretty much all states without spectacular evidence rape cases are treated as non-violent offenses and cops dismiss reports as "groundless" after little or no investigation. It's a widely known problem that even the senate is now acknowledging. Bad shit is going to happen to you, whether some asshole state security guard exists or not. You think an organization monopolizing the right to violence is going to keep violence from happening?
Ril74 1 year ago
@Dudemag Mussolini's police put away the mafia. Did that make them necessary? China's police keep law and order. Does that make them just? Mexico's police jail drug traffickers. Does that make them necessary?
Just because they protect some people some times does not offset the fact that the police's role in any society is social control, a.k.a. authoritarianism. They aren't necessary and they will not solve the problems that cause violence in society. Freedom and brotherhood, not slavery & fear.
TasinAkiwo 1 year ago
@bandgoesboom now think of all the innocents killed by criminals... Cops can be close minded cunts but seriously you can't honestly think all police are barbaric rapists... Are you like fucken 12?
hotrain44 1 year ago
@hotrain44
except one can expect that from a "criminal", no one is arguing that. however, we shouldn't accept and expect that from cops.
bandgoesboom 1 year ago
@hotrain44 I'm only 18. But in my entire life I honestly cannot think of ONE time where I was grateful the police were around. It's your fucking life. Take some fucking action. how about defending yourself rather than calling on the almighty police? THEY CHOSE TO FIGHT THEIR OWN PEOPLE! FUCK EM!
harrison8morrow 1 year ago
@harrison8morrow There are people that can't defend themselves... I'd be happy without cops around but I also tend to think of other people's needs.
hotrain44 1 year ago
@bandgoesboom Isnt there more important problems? cops have helped my ass on many occasions, but have never beaten the shit out of me for no reason. Stop acting like wannabe anarchist junior high kids...
ArmedPoverty 1 year ago
@ArmedPoverty
more important problems? i think racism, sexism, money and cartel corruption, the lack of shame from cops and system, etc, might not be the most important problem for you, but it is one of the more important problems for some of us. I have to assume comments that talk about how cops aint so bad, is because they havent dealt with an experience with an officer who attacked them or gave them an outrageous charge. You're obviously very lucky to never experience police injustice.
bandgoesboom 1 year ago
@bandgoesboom maybe cops would be a little nicer if anarchist didnt start riots and throw shit at them.. if someone is throwing shit at me of course im gonna beat some ass. stza is pretty cool though
ArmedPoverty 1 year ago
@ArmedPoverty dude, in my opinion, the moment a man puts on the uniform he is no longer a man. He is a PIG. A pig has no sense of personal justice or morality. They are mindless drones that uphold the corrupt demands called "laws" because they have been conditioned and brainwashed to believe that whatever (and i mean WHATEVER) the laws are, is what is just and pure. They deserve to shit thrown at them.
IamJeff666 1 year ago
@IamJeff666 That's a bit naive. The majority of people who become cops do it because they want to fight injustice, like you and me. Then there are rotten apples, just like there are rotten apples in the punk scene (homophobia, neonazis).
iAMnoxon 1 year ago
@iAMnoxon I agree that most people join the police force to save people/fight injustice or wtv you want to call it. But thats not what they end up doing. I believe this is greatly because what they perceive as injustice tends to almost never actually be morally wrong. For example, being chased through backyards by people (cops) with guns and having them throw you to the ground, break your wrists with cuffs, and have them laugh and joke about threatening your life just for smoking weed in a park.
IamJeff666 1 year ago
@iAMnoxon think about it. who is really causing an injustice: The peace loving stoners expanding their minds and loving life and each others company. or the "protectors of peace and justice" who attacked us?
IamJeff666 1 year ago
@IamJeff666 but im saying if you throw shit at them dont whine and complain about "police brutality" you sound like 14 year olds
ArmedPoverty 1 year ago
@ArmedPoverty
I'm 14, and I don't do that. -.-
I know what Police Brutality is, and I don't egg it on. I complain when it's needed. I've never witnessed it firsthand, so I don't have room to talk, but I feel for those who have. I don't wanna be dragged into this, I'm just giving my 2 cents. Bye.
giglokinproductions 1 year ago
@ArmedPoverty dude. do you really think police brutality only happens after the police are provoked? Obviously i understand that if you just throw things at cops they will come harass you. My point was that they were fucking people over long before people were rioting against them; and that they deserve to have shit thrown at them because of who they are and what they represent.
IamJeff666 1 year ago
@IamJeff666 im not even gonna lie, i hate the police too. i was seeing if i could get a good arguement out of you.. and you sure did tell me haha.
ArmedPoverty 1 year ago
@walkwiththelion yeah my dad's a cop. so was my grandpa. now my cousin's in the academy. i've been to dinners with big figures in the lapd, and you should hear what these scumfucks talk and laugh about. it really makes me sick. i see this music as an outlet for the aggression and hatred towards their establishment. i don't believe in killing them (in theory), but maybe they should listen to bill hicks and LOC and see if their outlook on their fake life is changed a bit.. lol
votejello 1 year ago
@votejello I understand your point, but not everyone who hears this is going to take it as theoretically as you have, some kid somewhere might take it upon themselves to kill somebody, what if it was your dad? or cousin? Now don't get me wrong, I am an anarchist and have no love for cops whatsoever, I would gladly do battle with them in the streets, my point is that it is irresponsible to make blanket statements that all cops should die.
walkwiththelion 1 year ago
@walkwiththelion you are right about blanket statements. it is pretty ignorant to do so. but anyways, if my dad or cousin ever got killed at their job i would just see it as the day they got dealt the wrong hand. it's not a safe business that guarantees that you'll make it home. they understand the risks and still want to do it. i would be bummed on a family level of course, but there has to be understanding that they could die any day.
votejello 1 year ago
@walkwiththelion Sure. your dad could be a "good" cop but do you really think your dad would stop his fellow cop friends from beating the shit out of some innocent black guy? No, so fuck your dad. Its like you think not all KKK members were bad
ChAllanz 1 year ago
@ChAllanz You are a fucking idiot. I can't say as to what my dad would do about a beating, but his best friend on the force was a black officer, which actually makes up most of what the force is in Atlanta. He also is not a member of the Klan so your analogy is ineffective. I'm no cop sympathizer, many of them do deserve to die, but not all of them by any means.
walkwiththelion 1 year ago
@walkwiththelion Well just to give my two cents on what you're saying. Stza isn't expecting anyone to take these lyrics literally, he's stated that numerous times. He only thinks it's acceptable in self defense. And regarding corrupt cops, i think a large fucking majority of cops are shit bags. But that doesn't mean all of them are, for instance you're father i'm guessing actually did what the police were meant and deployed for. There just aren't enough of those types of cops out there.
