You know, as someone who's never gotten around to beating any of the 8 bit megaman games, (despite many attempts) I have to say you made that look too easy.
I hatee the boss battle on stage 3. I keep on dying there. When the fight starts, I would use 3 of the 4 blocks to take out his health and used the last one to jump over him when I need to. Didn't work, got pissed, gave up. You made this look freakin' easy.
I found that using fire against wily's first form is extremely effective; specifically getting real close underneath him and jumping while firing, letting the fireball that orbits you do the damage. His health goes down much quicker than when using cutter.

In the first wily, try to use fire storm near the boss. In the second wily, there´s a trick to beat him with one shot, using the thunder beam and the pause button. The same trick can be done in the first boss.
@AGentertainment Did you use a DVD recorder to capture gameplay, then add your voice using a webcam after using Dazzle? Or do you use a capturecard to get all the gameplay into a computer, then use a webcam to add your voice. How I upload my guides to Youtube is this:

@AGentertainment 10 isn't that hard even on hard mode, but 9 is f*cking insane! Even more so than MM1. I did beat it with Protoman though. If you can beat superhero mode I salute you as one of the greatest person to exist.
@ATDOINFERNO I made a rule for myself that I wouldn't play any of the sequals until I beat the first one. After dying OVER 9000 times I died some more and then beat the game. The sequals now feel very easy (except for Quick Man.) I posted a review on uninformedgamer com

@DoomsdayOdd Cmon...in MM1, megaman can die or kill in 3 or 4 hits. You pick the wrong stage, you're in deep s**t. MM2 is, IMO, by far, the easiest of all !! Sure, quickman is hard, but not if you've beaten Flashman, and even easier if you've also beaten Air Man. MM2 introduced those 3 "toys", which make the game even easier. Want more? Blinking MM (after being hit) is invincible - against spikes also - for a short amount of time; again, introduced in MM2. MM3 is harder than MM2, too.

Mega Man 2 has kicked my ass so hard, with even the best strategies and shit, the thing is with mega man one, it didn't NEED anything, it was Doable with out them, the boss order is the easiest to figure out in the series, and though the castle isn't the easiest, its not hard or long enough to be it's own game, as the castle in MM2 is. the only mega man game I find harder than 2 is X6, and thats because X6 is a bad, bad game.

But I respect your opinion, since it's probably based on your gaming experience (so it's mine/mine). Dr Wily's castle, for example: in MM2, you can kill each of the 8 bosses per life, if you want, but not in MM1 (as you go back in the stage a little, and - differently from MM2 - you must kill some regulars first before reaching the bosses again. Not that hard, though, I admit)
Good thing you have this walkthrough because going through Wily's Stages are a major pain in the ass, and I can use all the help I can get. I also have the anniversary edition for the gamecube, but I went and bought the first four Megaman games through the Wii Shop. I just can't stand playing the anniversary edition with the gamecube controllers.
the power ups at the bottom on Wily's final stage are a 1-up and an object in a red frame i like to call the Shuriken...refills life, all weapons, and 100,000 bonus points :D
no i know that you used gamecube anneversary collection but in Dr. Wily Stages it looks like you are using an NES emulator because it looks like your health bar is dissapearing sometimes

I think it is worth noting, that against the bubble, if you use the blocks and die, those blocks will NOT reappear if you fight him again. I made that mistake the first time I fought him... So, if you use them, they are GONE!
on the real one, the actual NES cart, when you fire a weapon, you press select & the game will pause without the menu. Keep pressing the select buton like crazy & you can beat any boss without them attacking(I think....go look up the Mega Man select button glitch on here)
It depends on the program used. Using bare basics of windows movie maker, you include the video itself and you can use a sound device to record your voice. The video and audio portions can be split and you can sync them in together. There's also a tab where you can control the portion of video to audio sound (like more video than audio or more audio than video).
Man when I was like 10 I could never beat the rock monster on the first boss battle for the Wiley Stage. This is the only Mega-Man game I never finished. Hardest bosses by far
you are right but you have megaman complete works or megaman collection. In the original Yellow devil is more more MORE fast, and hi damage is most than in your game...
You remember Elecman's stage? Play through the level, and you'll notice some strange item being blocked by some Blocks. Use Gutsman's weapon to destroy them, and get the item. Then beat the stage and you'll get the magnet beam!
Cutman is really easy if you jump over his projectile, shoot him and then run towards him. He jumps over you and the rolling cutter will not hit you because it will go back to Cutman who'll be in midair above you. Good walkthrough but there are clearly many easier methods of approaching some of these bosses.
- The Yellow Devil. I usually make a big jump over the 4th and 5th bits, it's just easier that way.
- Fireman. It's actually possible to defeat him taking no hits at all! All you have to do is fire at him exactly once, avoid his counter-attack, let him approach you, jump over him, once more shoot exactly once and so on. It's surprisingly easy once you get the hang of it.
Wily: Fireman's weapon is really effective, just stay close to him and fry the bastard. :)

Guts Man's Power Glove? Sorry I just had to bring that up. On another note, even though I thought there was nothing more I could learn about Mega Man, this video taught me you can break boulders with Thunder Beam.
Something you should know about the clone: If you have the magnet beam equipped the clone wont fire anything, so have the magnet beam equipped and then when the clone passes you, jump over him. then quickly switch to any weapon, fire, and then switch back to the magnet beam.

on the real one, the actual NES cart, when you fire a weapon, you press select & the game will pause without the menu. Keep pressing the select buton like crazy & you can beat any boss without them attacking(I think....go look up the Mega Man select button glitch on here)

It depends on the program used. Using bare basics of windows movie maker, you include the video itself and you can use a sound device to record your voice. The video and audio portions can be split and you can sync them in together. There's also a tab where you can control the portion of video to audio sound (like more video than audio or more audio than video).

Man when I was like 10 I could never beat the rock monster on the first boss battle for the Wiley Stage. This is the only Mega-Man game I never finished. Hardest bosses by far

I just sat through all of your mega man walkthroughs, and I have to tell you, I was entertained all the way through.
two reasons.
1. Your commentary explains what you're doing, which makes it a lot more interesting, and much easier to understand the techniques you're using.
2. Your way with words, and the way you explain things is very easy to understand, and all seem totally logical.
Very well done, bud, I'd love to see more of these interactive walkthroughs.

It's the Magnet Beam, and it's "hidden" in Elec Man's stage. You need Guts Man's power to get it, iirc.

you are right but you have megaman complete works or megaman collection. In the original Yellow devil is more more MORE fast, and hi damage is most than in your game...

You remember Elecman's stage? Play through the level, and you'll notice some strange item being blocked by some Blocks. Use Gutsman's weapon to destroy them, and get the item. Then beat the stage and you'll get the magnet beam!

Cutman is really easy if you jump over his projectile, shoot him and then run towards him. He jumps over you and the rolling cutter will not hit you because it will go back to Cutman who'll be in midair above you. Good walkthrough but there are clearly many easier methods of approaching some of these bosses.

Very good walkthrough. But...
- The Yellow Devil. I usually make a big jump over the 4th and 5th bits, it's just easier that way.
- Fireman. It's actually possible to defeat him taking no hits at all! All you have to do is fire at him exactly once, avoid his counter-attack, let him approach you, jump over him, once more shoot exactly once and so on. It's surprisingly easy once you get the hang of it.
Wily: Fireman's weapon is really effective, just stay close to him and fry the bastard. :)

Guts Man's Power Glove? Sorry I just had to bring that up. On another note, even though I thought there was nothing more I could learn about Mega Man, this video taught me you can break boulders with Thunder Beam.

heres a tip for yellow devil challenge: the parts of him you must jump the numbers of 1, 3, 6, 8 , 9, 13 and 16.
If you time your jump right you can also jump over the third row of yellow devil.

Something you should know about the clone: If you have the magnet beam equipped the clone wont fire anything, so have the magnet beam equipped and then when the clone passes you, jump over him. then quickly switch to any weapon, fire, and then switch back to the magnet beam.
