I am very sorry to say that, but this quite average for me. The perco effect during the verse looks quite inattractively and sounds unsatisfyingly. It also seems to me that you lose the beat while tapping the poor instrument:( Yet it would be nicer if you squeezed the shit out of the last G's and D's full notes at the end of the phrases, y'know, just hold'em, let ring. But don't quit that perc-idea. If you ask me, I stomp the left pedal to the beat;] try it out!
@MartineHollander well, obviously, it's a string instrument too, but the tone is produced in a way akin to percussion instruments - you hit the keyboard, and the hammers hit the strings. :))) Plus you can use the instrument's entire body for percussive effects.
Ivana, you are great ! there are no other words!

I'm trying to teach myself this song on piano. Any chance you can help me out and let me know what you are playing?

@littlegrrlproduction No problem! Just drop me a note, let me know whether you have some musical training. Can you read music notation?

THAT WAS GREAT! but... ever thought of going electric, and use a drum loop on a keyboard for the percussion?

@rebelanarch Of course; but you gotta admit this spanking is fun. :)
