  • daleks are sooooo anoying

  • @enjoiskaterbmx That is a very good question. Well I am old so I started watching Doctor Who when it was Jon Pertwee the 3rd Dcctor Who, then Tom Baker etc. I always thought they were the best Doctor Who. But I have had to change this now as I thought David Tennant was amazing and I don't really rate Matt Smith I am sorry to say. So have watched a lot. Not a obsessive fan, I couldn't name the episodes or all the baddies etc. But I have enjoyed the series over many decades !

  • were did u get the garage peice in the backround

  • @legocreationmaster The shutter door and wall sections are from the Mega Bloks set 'Alien DNA Lab' which is no longer made, but you can pick them up cheap on eBay. I bought two separate ones, both were incomplete, but they had all the wall sections and doors. So they were cheaper still. Very useful items for set building.

  • u know, its very cool but u dont need to use super glue ill put a video on u tube soon showing my dalek (just using lego) and how to make it it also fits in with my mini figs everyone who in my family who seen it seen it said that its great it may take a while before it ends up on utube but it will be before the summer holidays end is that okay?

  • how u make it?

  • how did you put the eyestalk on to the head?

  • @legoman14059 - Yeah I had to cheat, it was superglued on. No other way to do that bit. I am sure the Lego purists out there will be offended by this lol.

  • @FunnyBoysFilms great idea. i even saw a website who glued it on too

  • cool,

  • The dalek is very ugly

  • Cute

  • good job on the sound effects

  • xD, LOL, love it xD

  • That is pretty sweet

  • i like the design

  • Exterminate!!!

  • i have made 3 daleks, davros and a dalek emperor (i have more but these are just my dalek ones

  • Sounds interesting, I hope you post some footage or photos of them soon.

  • i have just taken photos of them i will make a vid soon

  • awsome

  • hey nice dalek i typed this in on google cos im making one my sdelf its nearly finished but all i need is that dome head thing and i cant find it anywhere in any of my lego boxes do you know where i could ge hold of one?

  • oh almost forgot i need a grey one!

  • It is Lego piece 553b you can buy them on bricklink - com an excellent place to buy Lego pieces. Then I just bought two studs and a goblet and glued them onto the dome piece.

  • Sweet Dalek dude

  • Thanks, (thanks also to the guy who posted before you, who's comment I just accidently deleted!) - I posted early on in this comments list that the Dalek is a mixture of two designs I saw on Brickshelf, so I can't take credit for the design. But I am pleased how it turned out. Shame Lego don't do a Doctor Who range.

  • I liked it. :)

I know where the character is from, but I haven't actually sat down and watched a few episodes of "Dr. Who" yet.

  • best bloody lego dalek ever!

  • thats good

  • I think the dalek's protrusion (for want of a better word) is a wine cup from the medieval Lego collection!

  • correct :-)

  • That gave me a fright!

  • Where on earth did you get those brick panels from? I've always wanted to know!

    -maronislego

  • That's in the text for the film on this page

Glad you like them. Click on the 'more' link to the right of this film. ------>

  • Cool! But if you wanted it private why you put a funnyboys film at the beggining?

  • same webcam i use for my lego films

    it looks great.

    nice movie and animation.

    ^^

  • I really hate this film now, I can animate so much better, but it was the very first thing I did so I leave it here for the hell of it. In fact I am amazed at the number of hits it has got.

  • i really like your movie ''the sock''.

it had better animation than this, yes.

i can do as good as your animation but the storyline of ''the sock'' was really good

i only make lego shorts :/

  • looks really good, too bad you had to use glue,

that is a no-no for me, but still I give you 5 stars.

  • Your using this set for your new film. Good luck, it looks good!

  • ha ha

  • Even though its not complex its still AWESOME i dont have legos as i think there to stiff but when i watch ure vids...well u make them work

  • Thanks, it isn't supposed to be complex, it is what it is, a very small simple test to try out some new filming equipment. Truth be told it wasn't supposed to be a public video, I uploaded for testing purposes and to see how the rendering and compression appeared on YouTube, but forgot to mark it private ! It got lots of hits so I left it public :-)

  • ooooohhhh omg a LEGO dalek wow I had many attemps at making those but all have fialed man youre good

  • Where did you get the Sound effect? Keep working on a LEGO Doctor who, I'm sure it will be great with that camera and Dalek!

  • Hi, There are a few soundfx for you to use for non profit purposes on the official Dr Who website. I am not working on a Dr Who film, however I do plan to use the Dalek in a movie in the future. Cheers.

  • That was smooth

  • Thanks, not as smooth as I would have liked, but for a first attempt I guess I can live with it. Cheers.
