My grandma just called me with the TV blaring.. She asked me if I could hear the music playing on TV. It was cutting in and out, so I couldn't really tell what song it was. She went on to ask me if I remembered "One Day At A Time". She said that she would rock me to sleep with this song on in her old living room. Thanks Grandma, I didn't remember. But now, this will always be our song.

This is a beautiful song and should be played more often. It is prophetic isn't it, yesterday is gone and all the sorrows and happiness or whatever can never be repeated. So that is what we do, we take one day at a time.
It's a long journey through treatment and recovery, but keep in mind GOD only gives us what he knows we can handle. He also gives us LOTS OF FAMILY AND SUPPORT.. Prayers are with ya'll..One Day at a Time (Cristy Lane's song).

1-8-2010. She's havin' fun at 71. Happy Birthday, Cristy. In April 1998, a friend of mine died in an automobile accident. This was sung at his funeral. Very touching.

Very well sung. Listen to my late Mother singing this song. Type nancy mclean in YOU TUBE. Recorded in a hotel whilst on holiday at Blackpool ENGLAND. She would be near enough 70 yrs old. Listen to the SCOTS' accent. You'll be highly surprised at the tone and strength of voice. Simon Cowell would have been too. Eldest son david.

Katie loved this song. We were blessed by the spirit of God while sitting in church one Sunday morning in Vancouver, WA. That was were God meant us to be, but I turned my back on God and brought her back to Duluth, MN. where she died on June 23rd, 2010 @ 47 years old. A caregiver, CNA, my best friend. I don't know how to go on. Oh God, please help me.

This is a beautiful song and should be played more often. It is prophetic isn't it, yesterday is gone and all the sorrows and happiness or whatever can never be repeated. So that is what we do, we take one day at a time.

If you can't sing it cause it would be hard. Just remember the smile in his heart and on his face you put, before he passes and remember that you put it there. I remember my dad always singing "On the Wings of a Snow White Dove", and the Long Black Train and playing the harmonica. I always think of him when I hear those song. "MAY BE GONE - BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN"
