  • Loving rap is like building muscles, you need testosterone for it. Check this one out: "Nord Nord Muzikk-wo die killer hangen"

  • rap, has no soul and no talent. Rap is about things that shouldnt matter. FUCK RAP

  • that came out wrong nevermind

  • rock takes talent rap takes a message + rhyming skills, not that rap has a talent

  • Sorry about my earlier comment y r we fighting each other take out bieber

  • @daleva187goligo stfu u call rap music its just cusing atleast rock actualy has meaning so go listen to your dr seuse like music faggot

  • U do get Asian rappers like traphik (timothy delaghetto) lil crazed and ilmillions

  • rap sucks .blues rock all the way

  • the guy dosent know shit about rock

  • Well my heart always belonged to Rock n' Roll, though I love a lot of genres. Second favorite would probably be pop or rap, because I mean rap is good, and it seriously kick's Dubstep's ass because Dubstep is seriously annoying, IMO, but other than that rap is good when it's underground or actually people that can rap like 2pac, but when you bring Lil Wayne in you can count me out! Most mainstream rap sucks guys, but that is my opinion.

  • Makn a gud hip hop beat is harder than learning how 2 play a guiter fuck that! ive done both dnt let thz pple who assume makn a beat sittn infrnt of a computer is easey lie 2 you....turning on a beat software and a computer is easey bt thnkn off a beat is nt

  • When it comes down to content in rap music, a huge distinction is drawn between underground and commercial rap. Underground artist putting out some of the most lyrically complex, emotional and political music out there. Not to sound like an a-hole but all that bubblegum mainstream shit is what gives real artist a bad name.

  • I dont want to contradict my previous statement but if I has to choose.. Rock is a little better...Rock takes a bit more musical talent. And deals more with meaningful, important and more complex subject matters, like life, politics, philosophy, history etc.. And its also Global, theres bands(who are successful) from all over the world. U.S., Europe, South America, Asia, etc.. can you name one rapper thats not from the U.S or North America that is successful? So Rock is better, just my opinion.

  • @RocknRolldudes1 50 cent, Eminem, Jay z,Wu tang clan, and even 2 pac his material large amount bought by Germany. I like rock in my opinion, but you get a a lot of copy cat metal, and copy cat bands just like rap. I'm just waiting for something different, but not for a while we must wait.

  • Guys just stop it, No music genre is better than another, its all preference/opinion.. Theres Good and bad in ALL genres.. I for one am a huge Rock fan and a drummer.. but I also like many other genres, everything from Classical to Blues, Jazz to Reggae to Hip-Hop(mostly the old school and Underground.. again my preference) to Latin and so on.. theres only some genres I cant stand.. So just be open-minded, and if you are a musician, it helps in so many ways to dabble a little into other genres

  • every music genre is good every body have own opinion. culture plays a major part in music so asking someone of different culture which music genre is better is probably bound to be in their favor. btw this kinda seems like some stereotype shit/ bias shit.

  • I like rap and rock but wen it comes to witch one is better rap takes it no question I mean what makes more money and what's known more you can get man all you want but it is wat it is.

  • rap sucks !!!!!!!!

ROCK IS THE BEST FOR EVER. Have more history that rap

  • All the rap haters go and listen to Immortal Technique.

P.S. i think we all hate justin bieber right?!

  • @cassy45555 hahaha right, we have smthing in common

  • Rock wins easily it takes more talent and has made a bigger impact but rock mainly wins cause rap sucks and it's all pretty much the same over and over and over again

  • i have always listened to rap from 2pac to gucci but if you listen good enough every artist talks about the same things eminem-heart broke whiteboy that loves his daughter gucci-drugs and women jeezy- proud to be black t.i. the ghetto

im sorry but once you have heard so many songs about sex money and drugs you cant take it no longer

  • @triceseverly Solution to your Problem = Underground Rap. May I suggest The Roots, Common, Atmosphere, Lupe Fiasco, etc.

  • @xzxCHIPxzx WTF!!! Rap these days suck. 80 to early 90's are the best rap

  • U guys have to realize that Rocks reign over music is over. Over the years rock progressively got worse while Hip Hop and Rap got a whole lot better.

Nobodys saying Rock genre sucks but right now is the time of Rap.

  • Rock created rap

    That says it all.

    Rock is victor

  • Hip-Hop music is more suited towards the individual. There are different types of raps for different types of people

  • @pimpmasta5009 Not even close. It all depends on the rap you listen to.

  • Its not even close.... \m/

  • crappy argument, the only good part was about him explaining the roots of rock. Rap promotes rats to bash the cops, Im a big fan of rock. I think rock has proved superiority over rap... as always

    rap is naughty lol

  • White:How many white rappers you know?

    Black:Eminem...

    LOL

Okay in Greece ALL the rappers are white haha...Eminem kill all the other black rappers....But i like Snoopy Doggy and Doctor Dre

  • @MrFurious313 mac miller.

  • Rock will always be the greatest genre of music ever. The only rap i like is Eminem. I have all his albums on my i-pod. He's fucking awesome. But metal is gay. Metal songs are either about killing someones mom and eating their brains or having anal sex with your dad until he bleeds. Honestly, metal is a disgrace to noise lol. And don't get me started on pop.

  • @TheBigjohnny84 You're obviously retarded. Metal has lots of subgenres that DON'T talk about that. Shut the fuck up.

  • @cavemanofevil i'm sure it does...?

  • Rap will NEVER overcome rock

  • screw rap and rock. GO METAL!!!

  • Pussy ass rock sucks dick!

  • hard core metal &rock with some dr dre and eminem that is what i listen to

  • Look, no one will ever win this battle. Both genres are legitimate genres of music an both art forms require talent to be performed at their best. Rap has people like lil Wayne who give rap a bad name, rock has people like simple plan who give it a bad name. Rap has people like immortal technique who are good, rock has people like led Zeppelin who are good. But rock is my fav :).

  • @Ipfanhuh There different things Metal and rock is about playing instruments well and Rap is about lyrics and flow ect

  • WTF both of these guys dont know what their talkin about and need to do their research

  • Thumps up if u think rock rocks!!

  • rap rules

  • I love them both... they both require skill and dedication...

  • Some people say shit like "anyone can rap" but that's clearly bullshit coz it Takes talent to write lyrics, keep in time with the music, control your breath, Freestyle etc

People who think rap involves no talent or skill clearly don't bother to listen to the lyrics or just listen to shitty fake rap music and have never heard anyone good like Eminem, Nas, Tupac etc so before anyone says rap involves no talent listen to some real rap music (and actualy pay attention to the lyrics)

  • @lewishaggar rap is easier than metal and rock

  • Rock takes talent to play instruments and write song lyrics, not writing stupid shit that just rhymes to beats a monkey can make on a computer rap is alright, but you can be completely talentless to be successful.

  • @DoOrDieSniperFi

You have no clue what you're talking about, do you?

  • Even though I'm black.rock is pretty awesome...

  • Woo jazz! :D haha jazz is the root of all music

  • only one white rap fuck you

i know alleast 5 white rappers you just ignorant as fuck

    eminem

    lil wyte

    bubba

    pual wall

    tone deff

  • jimi hendrix, the god of rock and roll was a quarter cherokee... not that i know y guys were deciding wich nationalities listen to waht... one of my best freinds is black and listens to rock.

  • hahaha the black dude lost

  • Rap is 1000 times better than ppl beating the shit out of drums and raping a guitar, vs lyricism and flow

    METAL IS GARBAGE

  • okay dude this rock vs rap things getting annoying im a metal head but i like eminem lil wayne gorilla zoe what the fuck is up with everyone if rappers werent as talented as rockers they would be nowhere okay! look take kurt cobanne he was depressed about fame respect cause hes a legend but he was so doped the fuck up like many rock stars he killed him self adam gontier went to rehab for drugs but tupac rapped about life just like B.I.G and many rappers so shut the hell up dam

  • lets see here....we can write a poem about sex and drugs, and then throw a crappy computer beat onto it, and make millions.

OR, we can actually take the time to learn an instrument, and have some form of TALENT, and actually put effort into our music.

but no, we'd rather express our fame and success, while all of our fans drop out of high school and get killed everyday because of our shit music.

you don't hear on the news of rock bands shooting and killing each other

    so you tell me...

  • @sprayboy666 rap is talent, rappers like eminem, dmx, xzibit, tech n9ne and so many others actaully put effort into their music.Plus just because the beat comes from a computer does not anything other then its from a different source. lol

thats the kind of stuff that happens in the ghettos man.if you don't believe me i'll show you and give you links.

  • @DafftyDuck4You rap is not talent. and there is no way your going to persuade me otherwise.

anybody can make a short poem about sex, and thug life and all that other childish shit.

and then throw a computer beat into it.

id like to see one rap artist out there pick up a guitar, and play a metallica song.

its a lot harder to make a full album with 5 or 6 guys all playing their own unique instrument.

the only thing rap does is encourages punks to get involved in gangs and kill themselves

  • @sprayboy666 rap is talent, i actaully have facts that it is.Ah,denial at its best. ^^

i guess, but what about rappers like eminem,2pac,tech n9ne,dr dre, xzibit, dmx, and i caan give you a whole list of rappers that write about more then just mainstream stuff.

    whats wrong with the computer?

why? beastie boys,Derp are you alright up their? XD hello they dont care about metallica.korn and even linkin park did songs with rappers....so what your point?

    the voice is an instrument.

  • @DafftyDuck4You whats wrong with a computer? are you deaf or just plain stupid.

the computer does all the work for them lazy assholes.

every single rock band out there makes everything from scratch, the drums, the guitar, the singing,

the bass. it is all made by human hands. and not a fucking computer.

rappers are so untalented its ridiculous. i could write a whole rap album in a week if i had the right equipment. music now a days is so lazy its pathetic.

  • @sprayboy666 lol,i had no idea that the computer had a mind of its own and that it could create things without any humans there. lol

you do know their are schools for ppl who want to use the computer? their are even high paying jobs for being able to master the computer, one example is video game development.

its call new era,new age,new tec, advanced new times...are you lost?

first get facts i have facts rappers have talent.no you couldn't because it would require talent XD

  • @DafftyDuck4You there is no talent in rap dude. you need to stop saying that.

there are apps on i phones now, that edit your voice in 5 easy minutes.

    its pathetic.

its not called talent, its called laziness.

yeah, there are schools for computers, but non of your rappers went to them lol. thats why there are studio crews.

your rappers are untalented, and plaguing music. until you get that through your head then i feel sorry for you

  • @sprayboy666 i sent you a link to prove it to you.stop being ignorant, you will never win if you don't have facts.

thats not how real rappers get their beats, have yyou ever seen the studio of a beat maker? i'll send you a link for that as well. ^^

it can take 4 to 6 or even 8 years for a rapper to master his voice for rapping and sound decent....how is that lazy? working 8 years of your life profecting you voice, its not easy they even made a book called art & science of hip hop.

  • @sprayboy666 you do know that rap was around longer then metal and rock right?

  • @DafftyDuck4You Indeed it was. Once the first word in history was spoken, rap existed.. Seriously dude.. All rap is is talking.

  • @stasf6 no it isn't i can prove it to you that rap is not talking. It's about flow, speed, mind set and control you don't know anything about rap go do some research before you try and argue with me. lol

  • @DafftyDuck4You Ha! Trying to argue with you? Sorry no, I'm just pointing out a fact. It is just someone talking really fast with a beat behind it. Pretty fucking complex huh?

  • @stasf6 hope not,you wouldn't last.i was also pointing out a fact that rap is more complex then you think,i sent you a link prove it.rap has been around sinse the 19th century so what your problem with it? lol

  • @DafftyDuck4You No problem with it being around for a while, but as hard as someone wants to make it, talking is talking.

  • @stasf6 the definition of talking=exchange of ideas via conversation...i don't see rapping?

definition for rapping=spoken or chanted rhyming lyrics with a strong rhythmic accompaniment....holy crap, rapping and talking are different! :O

  • @DafftyDuck4You Why would rapping be under the definition of rapping? When I look up the definition of a fruit i don't see "Fruit: something like an apple." All I am saying is that there is not difference. You can search all the definitions in the world. Yeah sure they don't match, but that sure doesn't make a difference. I'm not going by definition. I'm going by the use of voice. In which in this case, they match.

  • @stasf6 no bro,the definition fo rapping is:rhyming lyrics are chanted to a musical accompaniment.next look up the definition of talking and rapping.do you want me to give you a wiki artical explaining what rap is?their is a difference, first the definitions don't match, rapping is rhymed lyrics that are chanted to a musical accompaniment and its a form of music. "Yeah sure they don't match" if they don't match like u just admited then their is a difference, derp. no one talks in rap XD LMFAO!!

  • @DafftyDuck4You Man are you fuckin retarded? I said they aren't the same by definition. They are the same by the use of voice. Learn to read.

  • @stasf6 no, but i can tell that your having a hard time figuring out the difference between rap and atlking though.their still different because no one talks in rhymes unless your rapping, they might "sound" the same(when they don't) but they are completely different i can prove it.

    talking:/watch?v=K7ht0a2-OnA

rapping:/watch?v=A7ZydXwziCo..put these in the youtube search,in case you didn't know.

all you need is common sense. lol

  • @DafftyDuck4You Dude again, I'm not talking about sound or definition. I'm talking about the use of voice. How many more times do i gotta repeat myself?

  • @stasf6 your gonna have to repeat yourself many times bro...because if you are taking about "voice use" you would know that the only you can hear someone is by sound, rappers use their voice in a rhythmic accompaniment while someone whos just talking does not....and do you know what "accompaniment" means..i bet you don't.

    you aren't making any points.

  • @DafftyDuck4You What dumbass wouldn't know the word "accompaniment?" Please enlighten me with your great intelligence oh wise one! Nah, I'm just shitting with ya! Are you trying to make yourself appear stupid, or were you born like that? Anyone would know the voice (I'm talking about your vocal chords, do you know what vocal chords are? I bet you don't) operates differently when singing and talking. Singing is in music am I right? If rap is music, would use in voice not match that of singing?

  • @stasf6 sinse you don't know what "accompaniment" means i'll tell you...•a musical part (vocal or instrumental) that supports or provides background for other musical parts..meaning that rappers use their voice in a musical way with there music. the voice operates differently when rapping too.rapping is in music aswell?singers through their voice and rappers rhyme their words in a strong rhythmic accompaniment..key word is "rhythmic",do know that rhythm is a key part in music?

  • @DafftyDuck4You Holy shit man. Earlier you said "I hope not, you wouldn't last." You are talking about in an argument am I correct? Well if so, do you only win arguments by annoying someone so much they're about ready to blow a bullet through their skull? So far you have only failed to comprehend what I am saying, made me repeat what I have said, and have tried to turn me to your side with examples to back up your point. You only so plainly show your stupidity. You have a lot to learn my friend.

  • @stasf6 you are either having a hard time accepting the facts and you have little understanding what rap is.if you accept the truth about rap you wouldn't be frustrated "am i correct"?you win arguments with facts, which btw i have.just admit that rap is music,is it not the same as talking and you wont shoot yourself, lol.keep repeating yourself because i have facts to back me up."and have tried to turn me to your side with examples to back up your point" no shit genius thats what facts are. lol

  • @DafftyDuck4You That isn't what I was saying. You have done nothing to back up YOUR point than using others to do so. Something other than links always helps. Those aren't facts. Only links to bullshit. It requires no understanding to know what rap is. One single beat through out, reading a poor excuse for a poem extremely fast, and hell, thats about it. If you think the beauty of rap (if there is any) overrides that of the good music out there, there has got to be something wrong upstairs.

  • @stasf6 then what are you saying?who am i using name people?yeah its called common sense do you have any? do you want me to explain what facts are now? stop being ignorant jusst accept the truth and you will feel a lot better.not really you are one example of ppl who do not know what rap is, lol.hey, rage against the machine do you know them?they have "gospel rap" rappers who rap about the word of god...whats more beautiful then that? i bet god listen to tupac, lol.you know nothing about rap do u?

  • @DafftyDuck4You Making music about God doesn't necessarily make the music beautiful. Ever listened to Pink Floyd? If that isn't beautiful, your just too stupid to understand the true meaning of it. And hey man, I know what facts are, all I'm saying is that linking me some bullshit over and over again isn't YOUR argument. If you are as good as you try so hard to make yourself appear to be, you could throw out some of your own ideas. And why would God listen to such a poor excuse for a human?

  • @stasf6 why not? rappers rrap about the cold streets, they inspire kids to do good look up "i can" by nas,"sing for the moment" by eminem hell i can name a lot of good rappers, lol.look up Justified by13 letters 116 clique they know how to do it right. you don't know anything you even owned yourself a couple of times, lol.dude, look up age against the machine, its a rapper band who don't rap over "beats" lol.because tupac fought for the ppl like you and me,explain how hes "a poor example"?

  • @DafftyDuck4You Just because he fought for us, he's labeled as a good person? Look a bit deeper into his history.

  • @stasf6 so you would rather support someone who wants to kill you then someone who will stand for you and defend you?

wow,you are that ignorant aren't you?

  • @DafftyDuck4You Who ever said I was standing up for someone who wants to kill me? Just because I don't like Tupac doesn't mean I'd favor the opposite side.

  • @stasf6 you called tupac.."a poor excuse of a human" unworthy of gods love and ears.Thats what you said he was someone who stood up against ppl who want to kill us and you woud say about him? if you knew tupac you wouldn't say that.....so,if you had to pick from obama or tupac who would you support?

  • @DafftyDuck4You Not unworthy of God's love, for God loves every human. Just a way of saying i don't like the guy too much, and that i highly doubt God would be listening to Tupac of all things. And i wouldn't support Tupac, or Obama. Can't stand either of them.

  • @stasf6 to god and me tupac isn't a poor excuse of a human.why don't you like him, if he was the voice of the ppl?why wouldn't he, if was about the people and how they should care about each other.he was someone who didn't care for the money, didn't care about the fame...u don't know nothing about tupac do you?

    tupac interview-/watch?v=Y8odEyQdUEk

  • @DafftyDuck4You Man more shit with the "You don't know anything about this, do you?" What's the big deal with me not liking a guy? Are we really going to continue talking about me not liking Tupac, or do you want to go back to the original issue? Or we could always set aside our difference in views on this topic and end this argument period. Frankly, I don't like sitting here waiting for a comment to pop up in my inbox that I am inevitably going to respond to.

  • @stasf6 you really don't know anything because no one can down talk tupac, not even rock/metal fans do that. And the ones who do don't know anything about tupac, like you.hes someone who was loved for a reason look him up.tupac is an example of a good rapper so even if we do get back to the "original issue" he will pop up, lol.

check out this rapper called Immortal Technique(these guys fighting for us and ppl who don't care about money) -/watch?v=QJuxb7HddOM

  • @DafftyDuck4You Ok Tupac could have come up to me and given me all the money he has. Am I going to like him for it? Probably not. Ill like what he has done, but not the individual for that specific act. Once a person dislikes someone, that isn't going to change. You can feel like it, but in reality, no, it won't change sub-consciously.

  • @DafftyDuck4You Now I'm going to go, and not come back. You can reply to this listing everything you hate about me, everything you disagree about what I said, you can call me stupid, so be it. I'm not going to waste my time on you. I would, but I'm pretty sure other viewers don't want 20 pages of the comments spammed by an argument over something as small as musical taste, and related disagreements.

  • @stasf6 aslong as you know rap is great then thats good.i knew you was ignorant the whole time, but whatever.at least you now know much of an idiot you was, someone who had no knowledge of music, science or even words for that matter! XD i hope you learn something about your intelligence from this, ok? lol

anyway,i hope you graduate middle school kiddo, bye.

  • @DafftyDuck4You I never agreed with what you were saying, only ending the argument.

  • @stasf6 i know i think rap is great too.thats what you said, just hope you know that i saw.

  • @DafftyDuck4You Just hope you don't view this as a victory over this argument, for nobody wins an argument over opinion. Have a nice night! :)

  • @DafftyDuck4You I believe we are getting a bit off topic here..

  • @DafftyDuck4You how bout you both shut the fuck up already

  • @FireProductions7 no you.

  • @DafftyDuck4You you seriously have to argue with every body who dont like your stupid ass wanna be gangster rap shit? all rap is is for pot smokin wanna be gangsters who are nothin but a bunch of fuckin followers.. just like you a fuckin follower.

  • @FireProductions7 rage against the machine,13 letters 116 clique, common and so many other rapppers don't rap about gangs...thats just the mainstream ones, lol. nope they havwe rap about god, government, the world, normal everyday life and whatever they want to rap about..i can show you proof.rap has been here sinse thwe 19th century so ppl havwe been following for quite a while then, huh? XD

  • @DafftyDuck4You yeah noticed how all those songs are bout bringin down life or bringin down god. and rock has been here alot longer then rap smart one

  • @FireProductions7 "116 Clique - 13 Letters- Justified" look up that song it has nothing to do with bring down god but rapping about his word.rock was only here sinse the 1940s.

19th century-1801–1900..a time when "gangster" didn't even exist.

    20th centuy-1901-2000..rock was start around 1920s with afro-americans.

    did you know this?

  • @stasf6 *throw

  • @DafftyDuck4You

then rap isnt music:) because MUSIC uses MUSICAL instruments

and anyway , don't try to tell me eminem, lil wayne or any other dickhead is better than LED ZEPPELIN, PINK FLOYD, THE STONES, ERIC CLAPTON, DEEP PURPLE, SCORPIONS , BLACK SABBATH...seriously man..

  • @dafronasmia Ever heard of The Roots ? , They play instruments ... Also why do people need to always compare great bands/artists , with the worst rappers ?

  • @IlikeBball234 just like when u guys compare rap with death/black metal ..

  • @dafronasmia When "you" guys . I never compare genres to one another....

  • @IlikeBball234

but anyway, wanted to ask you : Do you know some rock songs? if yes, do you like them?

  • @dafronasmia I can't really narrow down it to particular songs. But some bands/artists , i like are quite similar to yours. I like Boston , Pink Floyd , Eric Clapton , Hendrix , Zeppelin , Deep Purple , Chuck Berry , Lynyrd Skynyrd , Steve Vai . Those are just some that come to mind at the time...there's obviously more though , and yeah I do like them , I try to listen to as many different genres as I can

  • @sprayboy666 one more thing...you do know that rap was aaround longer then rock ^^

if you didn't then i'd suggest you stop replying now.

  • fuck this VS shit. rock is talented instrument players. rap is talented writers and freestyles. everybody has there own opinion of whats better and people listen to what they enjoy. i listen to both cuz when u think about it theyre the2 closest and most famous genres

  • @battlep0t "hip hop" and "rap" are terrible rock is awsome.

  • Rap is just terrible.

Hip-hop on the other hand is actually decent

  • rockers smoke in a good way?? are you fucking retarted??? lol more rockers have killed themselves with drugs than rappers... plus rockers do all these crazy ass drugs and shit most rappers jus smoke weed.. that shit wont kill you

  • i agree that the white kid is gay...and im white

who names music after a stone rocks cant sing

that kid needs to beat the white kid down

more teens now listen to rap than rocks

  • The white guy's such a dumbass. Ok, the black guy's not doing much justice anyway but the white guy doesn't know for shit about rock music. He's one of the many pussy-ass white kids who headbang all day to punk and emo fools. He doesn't know about the blues.

  • you cant spell crap whit out rap

  • rap sucks rock and heavy metal is the best in the world

  • I used to like hip hop better until apprently lil Wayne became the best rapper alive? No that jus doesn't match lil Wayne sucks! He raps on a third graders level! I like old school rap like Dr. Dre, eminem(which is still around), tupac, biggie, the game(only good rapper now a days) but as of this point in time rock wins! I love A7X rip the rev foREVer...

  • @voltage650 Lil Waynes the best rapper ever your just a hater! Sike nah Lil Waynes garbage, but rap and rock are still equal. Sure every rapper that's on the radio and on BET and crap like that only appeal to 12 year olds. Real rap is people less known by the radio, ie Lupe Fiasco, Jay Electronica and Andre 3000. And a place where good rap is everywhere is underground. So underground rap and a small percentage of mainstream rap is still good, so theres still hope

  • @CJCKYoungsterZ

Oh really? well then. you're the dumb ass. apl.de.ap and fergie (both members of the black eyed peas), are filipino. You know what, last time i checked, thats in FUCKING ASIA, which therefore, makes them asian

  • @HyperboyMike both of you shut the fuck up black eyed peas group suck anyway

  • @HyperboyMike welll fergie is a hispanic beauty so " inner micheal you r a pussy get ur shit straight kid FUCK YOU

  • ROCK!!!!!!

  • these muthafuckas dont know shit bout rap

  • White rappers:

Eminem, Asher Roth, Apathy, RA, Slug, Celph Titled, paul Wall, and a thousand more i dont feel like mentioning. And hardcore didnt come from metal in any way. It came from gangsta rap and evolved to other subjects.

and you cant generalize rap. Sure otday all this fake rap on BET matches all your claims, but real rappers have no respect for these fags.

  • @LilDtherapper No it didn't. Rock was invented in 1955 whereas rap was invented in the 1970. Get your facts straight dumbass.

  • @BdetteAndSteph I didnt say rap came from rock, if you actually read my comment instead of getting mad at my user name, you would realize what i said was the term "hardcore music" originated with gangsta rap and people started using it for rock considering how much it fit. I have my facts straight, you just didnt read what i said

  • @LilDtherapper Ohhhh okay, sorry for the comment, I didn't fully understand it so that's why I said that.

  • Nerds... • God I hope metal doesn't become popular with the media..it will turn to shit like rap!

  • Please don't make titles in highlight on light paper. It doesn't look as pro. :]

  • well , most classic rockers did,(Jimi Hendrix) but back then, drugs werent even regarded as bad.Now ,all rappers talk about is drugs, sex, and money.

  • true

  • @brunzmeflugen like rockers did before. rock is the only real music!

  • @pinksmithfloyd I don't know when there was a black guy in Metallica....They have a Hispanic bass player currently though.

  • @BSUOSUlover dude on metal massacre the demo album where first recorded their very first track- fyi the song was 'hit the lights' n yea the guy who played lead guitar was not dave mustaine- it was lloyd grant n he was black

  • @pinksmithfloyd Hm good call, I had no idea Lloyd Grant was black. So yeah I guess technically he was in Metallica, even if the only thing he wrote was the solo I believe.

  • @BSUOSUlover no dude he was acutally on the recording look it up- it's probably on youtube

  • @pinksmithfloyd No i know he was on the early recording, I am just saying that I believe the only thing he wrote for Metallica was the solo for Hit the Lights. Considering the rest of the song was written by James Hetfield with his other band Leather Charm.

  • @BSUOSUlover the point is there was a black guy in metallica
