1. as a photographer, you don't want to expose yourself in your own shots such as your shadow taking the photo, your silhouette or your reflection from your subject. and
2. You also don't want to have a piece of your equipment showing in your final shots. Notice your reflector is boldly noticeable from your model's sunglasses.
Create angles and exploit the environment especially when running your test shots. Be keen. Post processing will do the rest after.
Than you very much for your words.. but i have seen award winning photos and some high end fashion photos where there are reflections of the photog , btw my own reflection was intentional... i think it just depends on individuals maybe? nevertheless thank you.
Your amazing man, I bought a 30D after viewing your work back in the summer. I've shot 4 events with my new 30D which I got for a bargain! Thanks for the inspiration! Do you shoot on Manual?
Wow..thanks man.. i am glad to have been an inspiration n it jus makes wanna work harder.Congrats in ownin a 30D its a great cam.And yes i did shoot this in manual but if you should for events i guess best would be Av or Tv mode. All the best bro!
Thanks bro..i jus used PS tats about it.And seriously the megapixel count doesnt really matter cam companies are jus cashin in on this pixel race..wat matters is how u use the cam ..i used 30D its 8 mp.N i shot this vid using Ixus 40 a 4mp dcompact.
Tahnks for the response to my question. Ive seen alot of photographers that bring their entire studio and crew to do a location shoot and still mess it up. It looked like all you had were 2 lenses and a reflector and blew those "pros" out of the water. It just goes to show that its all in the eye, good work and continued success.
Well done. Very good edgy work. Everything looked very natural and un-posed. Would you mind saying the lenses you used and their settings? I liked the simplicity of what you brought with you but I cant tell your aperture, shutter, and focul length. Thanks for posting it.
hey man thanks for viewing n for ur comments.I used a 50mm f1.4 & 17-40mm f4 lens.Aperture was f2 to f8 n shutter was at 1/100 to 1/1250.Shot in raw.The guy was not a model he's my friend, this was his first time doing this.Had to talk to him to be himself and to be relaxed and it kinda turned out well.
awsome work, dude! you really know how to do PP and also to guide the model. best regards

Generally it's OK but some points:
1. as a photographer, you don't want to expose yourself in your own shots such as your shadow taking the photo, your silhouette or your reflection from your subject. and
2. You also don't want to have a piece of your equipment showing in your final shots. Notice your reflector is boldly noticeable from your model's sunglasses.
