I picked up the first few issues of Claremonts current New-Exiles books, and it certainly put me off hs writting for sure, I mean he did the same kind of bad job on Emporer Vulcan and that other one he did which Ive finally forgotten! YES!

Claremont usually misses with me. I love his old stuff, but his style just doesn't work as well anymore.
I did enjoy the 'Emperor Vulcan' mini series though. Christopher Yost told a great story .

'Emperor Vulcan' was Yost??? wow.. for some reason Ive been thinking it was Claremont! my bad!
I need to go dig them out and re-read them, ive never known Yost do anything THAT bad before!

What roped me in with the series was that it made me like Havok. Being an Iceman fan I have always hated Havok. Even so, it's tough to not like his bad ass attitude in avenging his father by killing his brother!
Give it a re-read!
