Classic scripture basically saying if you do good deeds without God you are doomed to hell. If you are a murdering rapist and ask for forgiveness before you die, you're good to an eternity of bliss.
people of other faiths such as hinduism, islam and buddism have just as strong convictions about their own spiritual experiences. who is to say the christian god is the right god? or that he exists at all. the human mind is very powerful....
@ydnicydni - I have no idea what u been through, but just like you I was brought up christian and went to church.. i tried.. but I was confused. If you want to encounter God, it will be on the love letter he wrote you. It isn't about right or wrong gods, is about love... Hindus generally believe on many Gods, budists in no god.. and muslims in the same god, without Jesus. Happy to pray for you, but it is not your family, or priests and pastors or me or other posts, it is HIS word...
