What a sweet, modest young man. I would be proude to have a son like him!

The Columbia execs told him they didn't hear a "Top 40 Hit" on this cd and urged him to go out and write a big hit, Josh said he didn't want to do that.

So, he gave the money back and produced "Simple Times" on his own, naming it because he wanted to get back to just sitting on his couch writing songs with his guitar. Writing whatever came to him.

I'm emailing all my friends. Let's make Josh a real success!

I agree with you wholeheartedly , me too would like to have him as a son. lol. so now, Josh got one adoptive Mother, and another adoptive Father in UK. lol He is great, and his songs are simple,tuneful,and emotional, and come right from a 'young heart'. I wish him all the luck in the world.

I'm so glad someone else is proud of Josh, also! :-) Gotta' love a young person with that kind of integrity.

The irony is that he will probably be more successful over the long haul than all the "cookie cutter" singers out there who are doing just as the record labels demand.

I love "I'd Rather Be Like You" and "The Fear You Won't Fall" and "Friend Like You" most of all, I think. He is such an intelligent young man, wise beyond his years. Lucky girl that he falls in love with!
