  • what song is this?

  • @danixisxlove

The first song is "When you are Old" from "Three choral settings of poems by William Butler Yeats : for four-part chorus of unaccompanied mixed voices" by Donald Grantham

The second and third are from "Four Herrick Songs" by Kenneth Neufeld. They are "To all young men that love" and "To Anthea, who may command him anything"

  • i miss this more than anything! i think the music on this concert was my favorite set we had ever done!

  • =o( =o( I really miss singing in this group! awesome sound guys!

  • That soprano note at 2:57 was absolutely glorious. My choir director did her graduate study at ISU and was in Madrigals, so our Madrigal program uses them as a basis for a lot of our song choices. Awesome, guys, keep up the great work! =]

  • just wondering... who was your choir director?

  • Alysia Lambert. I'm not sure how long ago she graduated, but she teaches at Lincoln Way East High School.

  • oh ok... she finished her grad work at ISU back in 2000... I was in Mads with her when she finished school

  • @geeyourcool That soprano from 2:57 was really angelic. So pure and high, so beautiful! It warmes my heart...

  • The bass and tenor sections made my face want to melt. :)I like it when the males sound that good and that under control. Very good.
