I think that the problem some people have with it is that it's easier for them to play when they're supporting their weight on the bar. My knees suck, so I might try the bar myself one of these days.

Seriously. If it weren't for solo arrows, I wouldn't even play DDR. Those arrows make this game what it is. Vivid arrows and flat arrows are the same in my opinion. Totally unreadable unless one already knows the beat to a song. And I hate the retarded faded purpleness of the vivid arrows regardless. Solo forever. Speed mods 2X and 3X forever.

They ARE more visible than the "vivid" arrows used by default, pretty much everyone agrees on that. They go best in unison with speed mods, which people also are one way or the other one.
I for one am really am a PIU player at heart, and as such, the Solo arrow colors, AND speed mods are perfectly fine for me. I could go on and on about my DDR Solo and PIU comparisons, but i would have to make a vid :p

I think that the problem some people have with it is that it's easier for them to play when they're supporting their weight on the bar. My knees suck, so I might try the bar myself one of these days.

Noshirt? In public? HELL YEAH! I personally think the bar is not any way cheating, but I do find it nice when ppl AAA and such withought holding it the entire time. more impressive.
Speed mods are awesome.. if you hate them, honestly, go die. PIU has had them from the start, DDR SOLO added em into DDR then they got ported to MAX. Get used to it. Solo arrows too, they are NOT cheating.

Seriously. If it weren't for solo arrows, I wouldn't even play DDR. Those arrows make this game what it is. Vivid arrows and flat arrows are the same in my opinion. Totally unreadable unless one already knows the beat to a song. And I hate the retarded faded purpleness of the vivid arrows regardless. Solo forever. Speed mods 2X and 3X forever.

Whatever.. thats your issue. I, and alot of other people simply prefer those arrows.
They ARE more visible than the "vivid" arrows used by default, pretty much everyone agrees on that. They go best in unison with speed mods, which people also are one way or the other one.
I for one am really am a PIU player at heart, and as such, the Solo arrow colors, AND speed mods are perfectly fine for me. I could go on and on about my DDR Solo and PIU comparisons, but i would have to make a vid :p
